This system correctly obtains a thermal sensation of a person in a room to provide a comfortable environment. A first parameter deriver derives, as a first parameter, a ratio of a low frequency component to a high frequency component in a variation of R-R intervals of a person, based on his/her body movement. A second parameter deriver derives, as a second parameter, any one of a coefficient of variation of R-R intervals, a respiration rate, or a heart rate of the person, based on the body movement of the person. An estimator estimates a thermal sensation of the person, based on the first parameter and the second parameter. A CPU for air-conditioning control controls an air-conditioning capacity of the air conditioner, based on a result of the estimation by the estimator.

Air-conditioning control system

A cooling member includes a heat-transfer member, a refrigerant introducing pipe and a covering material. The heat-transfer member has a surface with a groove opened to the surface of the heat-transfer member. The refrigerant introducing pipe is pressed into the groove. The covering material coats the surface of the heat-transfer member and the refrigerant introducing pipe.

An air conditioning indoor unit includes a movable first air direction adjustment plate that changes an up and down direction of the outlet air, a second air direction adjustment plate disposed adjacent to the air outlet, and a control unit that controls postures of the first and second adjustment plates. The second adjustment plate has at least a front end portion housed in an indoor unit front portion outside a blowing path when housed. In a Coanda effect utilization mode the control unit controls the postures of the first and second adjustment plates such that the second adjustment plate is spaced apart from the indoor unit front portion and a height position of a rear end portion is lower than when operation is stopped, and the adjustment plates form a predetermined angle to change the outlet air to a Coanda air flow along an undersurface of the second adjustment plate.

Air conditioning indoor unit

A valve case () includes a plurality of ports (P, P, P, . . . ). A valve body () rotates in the valve case () and slide on openings of predetermined ones of the ports (P, P, P, . . . ) to switch a communication state among the ports (P, P, P, . . . ). A motor () rotates the valve body (). A controller () controls a rotation speed (&#x3c9;) of the motor () in accordance with a differential pressure (&#x394;P) between internal and external pressures of the valve body ().

Refrigerant passage change-over valve and air conditioner using the same

An air conditioner includes a printed circuit board to which a power device is attached; and a refrigerant jacket which is connected to the power device, and through which refrigerant used for a refrigeration cycle flows. The printed circuit board is accommodated in a switch box. The refrigerant jacket is fixed to the switch box through a heat transfer plate, and the refrigerant jacket and the printed circuit board are connected together by the switch box.

Air conditioner

An air conditioner includes a printed circuit board () to which a power device () is attached; and a refrigerant jacket () which is connected to the power device (), and through which refrigerant used for a refrigeration cycle flows. The printed circuit board () is accommodated in a switch box (). The refrigerant jacket () is fixed to the switch box () through a heat transfer plate (), and the refrigerant jacket () and the printed circuit board () are connected together by the switch box ().

A movable valve element is provided so as to rotate about a predetermined shaft center. A first valve seat and a second valve seat are respectively arranged apart from the movable valve element with predetermined clearances on both sides of the movable valve element in a direction along the shaft center. A first sealing member is arranged around a communication path so as to seal a space inside the communication path from a space defined by the clearance on a side close to the first valve seat. A second sealing member is arranged around the communication path so as to seal the space inside the communication path from a space defined by the clearance on a side close to the second valve seat.

Rotary valve

A printed-circuit board () having a power element () and a refrigerant jacket () to which the power element () is thermally connected, with refrigerant circulating therein used in refrigeration cycle, are provided in an outdoor unit casing (). The printed-circuit board () is provided in a switch box (). A face of the outdoor unit casing () has a service opening (). The refrigerant jacket () faces the service opening (), being closer to the front side of the outdoor unit casing () than the power element () as viewed from the service opening ().
