A headphone volume control method calculates a level of a sound signal, which is captured by a microphone, during a first period, determines a target value of a sound volume based on the above-mentioned level, and gradually changes a reproduction volume of content to be reproduced to the above-mentioned target value over a second period.

An audio mixer includes a user interface, panners, a first adder, a localization device, a second adder, and an output circuit. The user interface supplies a first parameter and a second parameter for each channel based on a user operation. The first parameter indicates a position in a right-left direction. The second parameter specifies internalization or externalization. The panners respectively correspond to channels and, based on the first parameter, pan a sound signal corresponding to the each channel to generate first stereo signals. The first adder generates a second stereo signal by mixing first stereo signals respectively corresponding to externalization channels. The localization device generates two third stereo signals. The second adder generates a fourth stereo signal by mixing the two third stereo signals and first stereo signals respectively corresponding to internalization channels. The output circuit outputs the fourth stereo signal.

An audio processor acquires processed sound data, which is obtained by processing original sound data according to a content of processing defined such that first sound is emitted under the standard sound emission condition, in association with a sound emission device, acquires a control signal, and acquires a device sound emission condition. In order to make second sound emitted by the sound emission device under the acquired device sound emission condition close to the first sound, the audio processor identifies the correction content of the processed sound data based on a difference between the device sound emission condition and the standard sound emission condition, the control signal, and the processed sound data acquired in association with the sound emission device. The audio processor corrects the processed sound data according to the correction content, and supplies the corrected processed sound data to the sound emission device.

An information processor includes a generator that is adapted to generate original sound data indicating an original sound as a basis for a processed sound to be heard by a user and a parameter indicating a content of processing on the original sound data, an original sound data output section that is adapted to output the original sound data generated by the generator from any channel of a plurality of channels, and a control signal output section that is adapted to output a control signal including the parameter and a correspondence relationship between the parameter and the channel for the original sound data to be processed by means of the parameter.

Sound field controller

A sound field control device has an input part through which an audio signal is input. A storage part stores a first factor obtained by calculating a proportion of energy of direct sound in total energy of sound collected in an adjustment environment within a predetermined time. A sound field generation part generates a sound field effect sound from the audio signal input through the input part, and outputs the sound field effect sound at a volume corresponding to the first factor. A calculation part calculates a second factor which represents a ratio of an energy of a direct sound to an energy of sound which is collected in a reproduction environment and which contains the direct sound. A correction part corrects the volume of the sound field effect sound based on a ratio between the first factor and the second factor.

Sound field control device

In a sound field control apparatus, a storage unit stores position information of a plurality of speakers disposed in a three-dimensional space and position information of a sound receiving point. An input unit inputs an audio signal and position information of a virtual audio source. A localization controller localizes the audio signal at a position of the virtual audio source. The localization controller defines a virtual polyhedral solid that has vertices at respective positions of the plurality of the speakers, selects a face of the virtual polyhedral solid through which a directional line from the sound receiving point to the virtual audio source passes, selects speakers located at vertices of the selected face as speakers to which the audio signal is output, and determines ratios of levels of the audio signals to be provided to the speakers located at the vertices of the selected face based on ratios of respective angles between the directional line and straight lines directed from the sound receiving point to the vertices of the selected face.
