A dynamic foil gas bearing includes a foil group comprising a corrugated-sheet-like bump foil, a flat-sheet-like middle foil, and a flat-sheet-like top foil which are arranged successively toward the center axis of a bearing case. The top foil includes a second linkage surface joined to a second fixed surface fixed to an inner circumferential surface of the bearing case and also joined to a second rotatable shaft holding surface. The second linkage surface is provided by a curved portion of the top foil which is convex toward the center axis of the bearing case. The middle foil includes a first linkage surface joined to a first fixed surface fixed to the inner circumferential surface of the bearing case and also joined to a first rotatable shaft holding surface. The first linkage surface is provided by a bent straight portion of the middle foil.

Dynamic foil gas bearing

A fuel modification apparatus is equipped with evaporators for evaporating a raw fuel as a fuel to be modified, a super heater for elevating the temperature of the above evaporated raw fuel to a temperature required for the modification, a modification vessel for modifying the above raw fuel having an elevated temperature to form a modified gas, and a preheater for preheating a heating fluid for evaporating the above raw fuel in the evaporator. The evaporators are arranged on a concentric circle, surrounding the superheater.

End rings are coupled with upper and lower ends of a cylindrical body tube. A plurality of first heat exchanger tubes are fitted and held in holes provided in a pair of first tube plates. A plurality of second heat exchanger tubes are fitted and held in holes provided in a pair of second tube plates. The inside of each first heat exchanger tubes forms a first-fluid passage for carrying a reformed gas. The space defined between an outer wall of each first heat exchanger tube and an inner wall of the corresponding second heat exchanger tube forms a second-fluid passage for carrying a coolant. The space defined among an inner wall of the body tube and outer walls of the second heat exchanger tubes form a third-fluid passage for carrying compressed air.
