A lens holding unit is held so that it can relatively move with respect to a base part to a direction vertical to an optical axis direction. The lens holding unit has a lens holder, a magnet part, and a spring. The lens holder has a first coil. The magnet part has a first magnet part which includes a first face facing to the first coil and a second magnet part which includes a second face vertical to the first face and constitutes a magnetic domain different from that of the first magnet part. These first magnet part and second magnet part are integrated.

A lens holding device includes a movable part having a coil attached to a lens holder holding a lens and includes a magnet part arranged around an outer peripheral side of the movable part so as to face the coil. Accordingly, the bicyclic heterocyclic compound of the present invention can be used for treating dementia, schizophrenia, depression, pain (particularly, neuropathic pain or fibromyalgia), diabetes (particularly, type II diabetes mellitus), insulin resistance, and the like.

Bicyclic heterocyclic compound

[Problem] To provide a compound useful as medicine having PDE4B inhibitory activity, in particular, as an active ingredient of a composition for treating or preventing schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, depression and the like. [Measures for Solution] The present inventors examined compounds having PDE4B inhibitory activity and found that a tricyclic or tetracyclic imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivative or salts thereof had a superior PDE4B inhibitory activity, thereby completing the present invention. The imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivative can be used as an agent for treating or preventing schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, depression and the like.

A recording and reading system for a multi-layered optical recording medium includes: a multi-layered optical recording medium including a plurality of recording layers and a single servo layer; and an optical head. The optical head includes a recording and reading objective lens of a signal recording and reading optical system and a servo objective lens of a servo signal detection optical system that are disposed on a common actuator. The recording and reading objective lens is mounted on the common actuator through a minute-drive apparatus so as to be minutely driven in a focusing direction relative to the servo objective lens. When the servo objective lens is focused on the servo layer, a reading light beam is quickly focused on a target one of the plurality of recording layers.

Optical head device and reading system for multi-layered optical recording medium

[Problem] A compound, which can be used for preventing or treating diseases, in which 11&#x3b2;-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11&#x3b2;-HSD1) is concerned, in particular, diabetes, insulin resistance, dementia, schizophrenia and depression, is provided. [Means for Solution] It was found that a triazole derivative, in which one of the 3- and 5-positions of the triazole ring has (di)alkylmethyl or cycloalkyl, each of which is substituted with &#x2014;O&#x2014; (aryl or a heterocyclic group, each of which may be substituted, or lower alkylene-cycloalkyl), and the other thereof has aryl, a heterocyclic group or cycloalkyl, each of which may be substituted, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof exhibits potent 11&#x3b2;-HSD1 inhibitory action. From the above, the triazole derivative of the present invention can be used for preventing or treating diabetes, insulin resistance, dementia, schizophrenia and depression.

Triazole derivative or salt thereof

A compound which is useful as an active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition for treating neuropathic pain is provided. The present inventors have made extensive studies on compounds having an FAAH inhibitory activity, and as a result, have found that an azole compound substituted with an N-(pyridine-3-yl)oxycarbonyl-piperidin-4-yl group and a phenyl group or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof has an excellent FAAH inhibitory activity, thereby completing the present invention. The compound of the present invention is confirmed to have an excellent FAAH inhibitory activity and an antiallodynic effect in rat models with neuropathic pain, and thus is useful as an agent for preventing and/or an agent for treating neuropathic pain.

Azole compound

An optical head device (optical head) for a multi-layered optical recording medium has a focus control mechanism that makes use of astigmatism. The focus control mechanism has a sensor lens that includes a cylindrical lens. The focus control mechanism causes a light beam having passed through the sensor lens to have astigmatism, thereby being focused linearly in the Y direction on a front focal line located closer to the sensor lens and focused linearly in the X direction at a rear focal line located farther therefrom.
