An actuator is provided in an actuator housing. A lever is provided in the actuator housing, rotates by driving force from the actuator, contacts an arm that rotates together with the pedal, and is capable of imparting a reaction force to the pedal against a driver's depression force. A fixing member is formed so that a pedal housing and the actuator housing are fixed apart from each other, and are attachable to a vehicle. A positioning portion determines a contact position between an arm and the lever and between a rotation axis of the pedal and a rotation axis of the lever.

Reaction force imparting device

A reaction force applying device includes an actuator housing, an actuator, a lever, a connected part, and a connecting part. The actuator housing is attachable to a vehicle. The actuator is provided in the actuator housing. The lever is provided in the actuator housing to be rotatable by receiving a driving force from the actuator, to contact an arm that rotates with a pedal, and to be capable of applying a reaction force to the pedal against a driver's stepping force. The connected part is provided in a pedal housing, and the connecting part is provided in the actuator housing and connected to the connected part.

Reaction force applying device

A power transmission mechanism of an accelerator device includes a first power transmission member, a second power transmission member, a coupling elastic member, and an actuator lever, and applies a reaction force to a pedal lever via the first power transmission member, the second power transmission member, and the actuator lever using a driving force of a drive source. The first power transmission member has a first stopper, and the driving force is transmitted to the first power transmission member. The second power transmission member has a second stopper that comes into contact with the first stopper. The first stopper and the second stopper are separated from each other in an initial state, and when the drive source is energized, and come into contact with each other when the first power transmission member is driven against an elastic force of the coupling elastic member by energizing the drive source.

Accelerator device

A valve device includes: a seal member that is slidably in close contact with an outer peripheral surface of a rotation shaft; and an annular attachment ring that attaches the seal member to a housing. The seal member has a first-side plate part and a second-side plate part sandwiching and holding the seal member in an axial direction of the rotation shaft. An inner peripheral end of the second-side plate part is positioned radially outside beyond an inner peripheral end of the first-side plate part. An outer surface of the first-side plate part includes an outer peripheral-side region positioned radially outside beyond the inner peripheral end of the second-side plate part and an inner peripheral-side region positioned radially inside beyond the outer peripheral-side region. The outer peripheral-side region is positioned on a first side of the axial direction with respect to the inner peripheral-side region.

Valve device

A valve device includes: a housing; a valve element; a rotatable shaft that rotates the valve element; a seal member that is slidably in close contact with an outer peripheral surface of the rotatable shaft to limit penetration of gas through a gap between the rotatable shaft and the housing; and a mounting ring that is shaped in a ring form and mounts the seal member to the housing. The mounting ring has: a ring portion, a one-side plate portion and an opposite-side plate portion which are formed from a single continuous plate material. The one-side plate portion and the opposite-side plate portion clamp the seal member therebetween and are joined together through the ring portion.

Valve device and method for manufacturing valve device

A seal ring of a valve element includes a one-end joint forming portion and an other-end joint forming portion. The one-end joint forming portion includes a one-end first contact portion and a one-end second contact portion located on one side of the one-end first contact portion in an axial direction and extending in a circumferential direction beyond the one-end first contact portion. The other-end joint forming portion includes an other-end first contact portion and an other-end second contact portion located on the other side of the other-end first contact portion in the axial direction and extending in the circumferential direction beyond the other-end first contact portion. An inner diameter of the seal ring when the one-end first contact portion separates from the other-end second contact portion is less than an outer diameter of the valve element.

A seal ring is made of resin, applied to a valve body that changes an opening degree of a fluid passage through which a fluid passes, and that seals, when the valve body fully closes the fluid passage, between an inner peripheral surface defining the fluid passage and an outer peripheral edge of the valve body. The seal ring includes a ring main body fitted in an outer peripheral groove formed on the outer peripheral edge.

Seal ring and valve device

A valve body has a substantially disk shape and is provided in a gas passage. A shaft supports the valve body so as to be rotatable in the gas passage. A groove portion is provided at an outer edge portion of the valve body on an outer side in a radial direction so as to extend in a circumferential direction of the valve body. A seal ring is formed in an annular shape, has a separated portion as a cut in a part in the circumferential direction, and is fitted in the groove portion of the valve body. At least one of one end surface in a circumferential direction and the other end surface in the circumferential direction of the seal ring is a inclined surface that is inclined so as to guide a foreign matter accumulated in a gap of the separated portion to an outside of the gap.

Butterfly valve including a valve body, shaft, groove portion and seal ring

A valve member is movably provided in a fluid passage to open or close the same. A seal ring is movably assembled to a valve-side annular groove formed in an outer peripheral portion of the valve member. A fluid escape portion is formed on a downstream-side ring surface of the seal ring. A recessed portion is formed as the fluid escape portion and located at a radial-inside position of a sealing surface portion, which is a part of the downstream-side ring surface and tightly in contact with a downstream-side groove surface of the valve-side annular groove when the valve member is moved to a valve closed position. Fluid flows from an upstream side to a downstream side through the fluid escape portion when the valve member is moved to a valve opened position, so that the seal ring is prevented from coming out from the valve-side annular groove.

A composite seal ring has a resin seal ring and a metal spring. The resin seal ring is attached in an outer peripheral groove of a valve that opens and closes a passage by a rotational displacement, and the resin seal ring seals between an inner wall of a passage portion that forms the passage and the valve, in the fully closed state of the valve. A metal spring is circularly disposed within a radial width of the resin seal ring. The spring is configured to press the resin seal ring radially outwardly and radially inwardly due to the pressure acting on the resin seal ring or a deformation of the resin seal ring.

Composite seal ring

A valve is configured to control an opening in a passage. A valve angle sensor is configured to send an electric signal according to a rotation angle of the valve. In a storing process, an actual measurement value of a valve angle at a mechanical full open position is stored as an actual full open valve angle. In a first setting process, a first output value at a mechanical full close position is set. In a second setting process, a second output value at the stored actual full open valve angle is set. The output characteristic is set as an angle to output value relation according to the first output value and the second output value.

Method for setting sensor output

A link apparatus includes a cam plate, a lever and an accommodation member. The cam plate has a cam groove. The lever has a roller engaged with the cam groove and a pin which is inserted through a center of the roller so that the roller is rotatably supported on the pin. The accommodation member accommodates the cam plate and the lever. The accommodation member and the pin have a distance 'A' therebetween. The roller has a thickness 'B' along an axial direction of the pin. The value of the distance &#x201c;A&#x201d; is smaller than the value of the thickness &#x201c;B&#x201d;.

Link apparatus

A gear subassembly is for an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system including an EGR valve and a rotatable shaft provided for the EGR valve. The gear subassembly includes a gear and a cam. The gear is a part of reduction gears and is fastened to the rotatable shaft to rotate therearound. The cam is fastened to the gear and is a part of a link mechanism. The gear includes a metal shaft-fastening part used for fastening the gear to the rotatable shaft, and a metal cam-fastening part used for fastening the gear to the cam. The gear is formed by resin-molding with the shaft-fastening part and the cam-fastening part serving as insert parts.
