The present invention is for providing a radio terminal device having shock resistance and high rigidity capable of preventing breakage of the housing even in the case it is dropped from a hand, without the risk of deteriorating the performance of the stored antenna. The radio terminal device according to the invention comprises a printed board, a resin housing provided so as to cover one side surface of the printed board, a metal housing provided so as to cover the other side surface of the printed board, and an antenna provided on the one surface side of the printed board, wherein the resin housing and the metal housing are divided in a region elongating from the one side surface to the other side surface of the printed board.

The present invention aims to reduce a size of a hinge portion and a device in an opening/closing mobile terminal device in which first and second housing members are opened/closed and turned on hinges. In the present invention, a second turning shaft () is provided to intersect with the first turning member so as to turn together with a first turning shaft () and provided turnably to the first turning shaft (), first and second guiding member () for restricting a turning angle of the second turning shaft () are provided in the first turning shaft (). In an opening/closing type portable terminal device having first and second box members that can be opened and closed and turned through a hinge, an object of the invention is to miniaturize the hinge and the device. A second turnable shaft () crosses a first turnable shaft () to turn together and is turnable with respect to the first turnable shaft (). First and second guide members () for controlling the turning angle of the second turnable shaft () are installed within the first turnable shaft (). At a position across the first and second box members (), a flexible substrate () is interposed between the first turnable shat () and a first turnable shaft bearing () and is formed at one end thereof with a first winding () to be wound on the outer periphery of the first turnable shaft bearing () and is turned together with the first turnable shaft ().

A purpose of the present invention is to provide a compact hinge apparatus in which a clearance between a rotating shaft and cover members is small and a rotation radius of the rotating shaft is small, and to provide an opening/closing type communication terminal equipped with the hinge apparatus. Portable terminal device

The invention aims at providing a communication terminal capable of suppressing degradation of an antenna gain irrespective of whether the casing of the communication terminal is opened or closed. The communication terminal includes a hinge for coupling in a foldable manner a first casing member and a second casing member, each including conductors such as a first printed board and a second printed board. In close proximity to the hinge in the second casing member is provides a second antenna. The hinge includes a first rotation axis composed of a conductive metal material working as an axis of rotation of two casing members in opposite directions and a second rotation axis composed of a conductive metal material working as an axis of rotation in a direction orthogonal to the direction of rotation about the first rotation axis. A predetermined clearance L to place the conductors of the first and second casing members in capacity coupling is formed and the hinge is insulated from the conductor of one of the two casing members.

In a housing comprising an upper case and a lower case are stored a whip antenna, a built-in antenna, a receiver for outputting a voice, a display part for indicating characters and marks, a back side key to be operated during the call, a flexible substrate comprising a diaphragm switch, a printed board, and a shield case for shielding a receiving circuit part and a radio circuit part. In the case the user would like to keep the content of the conversation during the call, the back side key can be operated by a finger. Accordingly, the diaphragm switch is turned on so as to drive a recording mechanism.

Thanks to this structure, there can be obtained an effect that, even when there arrives a receiving call through vibrations, no vibration can be produced in the leading end of the antenna main body portion and thus no strange sound (irregular sound) can be generated.
