Provided is a curable resin composition which can be molded by casting to obtain composite materials each composed of a polycarbonate resin and an acrylic resin and having high transparency and high impact strength. More specifically, provided is a curing resin composition comprising an acrylic monomer having a saturated group, a polycarbonate resin having an unsaturated-group-containing terminal structure at a molecular end, and a free-radical polymerization initiator.

The present application provides a polycarbonate-based coating resin composition having high adhesiveness, more specifically provides a polycarbonate resin composition that contains not less than 0.1 parts by mass of a polyisocyanate compound and 100 parts by mass of a terminal-modified polycarbonate resin (A) having a structural unit (2) and a terminal structure represented by structural formula (1). [In formula (1) and formula (2), R-R, X, Y, Z, and a are as described in the description.]

Polycarbonate resin composition

Provided is a polycarbonate resin having excellent solubility in low-boiling-point non-halogenated solvents and having a high glass transition temperature. The polycarbonate resin includes constituent units (A) represented by general formula (1) (for example 4,4′-(4-methylpentane-2,2-diyl)diphenol) and constituent units (B) represented by general formula (2) (for example 4,4′-(1-phenylethane-1,1-diyl)diphenol), the molar ratio of the constituent units (A) to the constituent units (B), A/B, being 45/55 to 95/5, and includes a terminal structure selected from formula (T1) (for example p-t-butylphenol) and/or formula (T2) (for example 3-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-4-hydroxyphenethylmethacrylate).

Polycarbonate resin

A terminally modified polycarbonate resin that has ultraviolet absorbing capability is provided. More specifically, the terminally modified polycarbonate resin has a structure represented by general formula (A) and a constituent unit that is derived from a dihydric phenol. (In general formula (A), Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms; Rrepresents an alkylene group having 1-6 carbon atoms; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; and * represents the bonding position to the main chain of the polycarbonate resin.)

The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a peelable coating composition for which peeling due to light impact or scratch after drying is effectively prevented while peeling easily in operations in which peeling is intended; and a coating film obtained by drying said composition. The problem is solved by an easy peel coating composition comprising a polycarbonate resin with structural units represented by general formula (1): (1) and a non-halogen-based organic solvent, wherein the content of the polycarbonate resin in the composition is 0.1-50 mass % and the proportion of structural units represented by general formula (2): (2) in the structural units represented by general formula (1) is 0-80% as a mole ratio. 

Easy peel coating composition

The present invention addresses the problem of providing an optical use polycarbonate resin composition which exhibits good fluidity, has a high refractive index, is inexpensive and exhibits impact resistance. This problem can be solved by an optical use polycarbonate resin composition that contains a polycarbonate resin (A) which contains a constituent unit represented by formula (1) and has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.320-0.630 dL/g, and polycarbonate resin (B) which contains a constituent unit represented by formula (2) and has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.320-0.600 dL/g, wherein the polycarbonate resin that contains a constituent unit represented by formula (2) is contained at a proportion of 45-75 mass %.

The present invention can provide a polyarylate obtained from a dihydric phenol component and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component. The polyarylate is characterized in that the dihydric phenol component contains a compound represented by general formula (A) or (B) as a primary raw material, and the pencil hardness of the polyarylate is H or higher.

The present invention can provide a polyarylate obtained from a dihydric phenol component and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component. The polyarylate is characterized in that the dihydric phenol component contains a compound represented by general formula (A) or (B) as a primary raw material, and the pencil hardness of the polyarylate is H or higher.  (In the formula, Rand Reach independently denote a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group. However, neither Rnor Rrepresents a methyl group.)  (In the formula, Rand Reach independently denote a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. In addition, a is an integer between 4 and 11. However, a is not 5 if Rand Rare both hydrogen atoms.)

The present invention relates to a multilayer laminated product which at least contains a layer formed of an acrylic resin composition containing an acrylic resin as a main component, and a specific terminally-modified polycarbonate resin. Moreover, the multilayer laminated product of the present invention has an excellent releasability and low frictional properties.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor belt which is excellent in durability and therefore little cracks even when fingerprints of an operator or hand cream adheres to the belt, wherein a binder resin for photosensitive layers comprising as the main component a polycarbonate resin which comprises bisphenol A type constituent units represented by the formula (I) as the main constituent unit (preferably in an amount of at least 90% by weight based on the whole of the constituent units) and which has a limiting viscosity of 1 to 1.6 dl/g and preferably a molecular weight distribution of 3.2 to 4.3 as calculated from the weight-average molecular weight and number-average molecular weight determined by GPC is used in a photosensitive layer (particularly carrier transport layer) of the belt. 

Binder resin for photosensitive layers and electrophotographic photoreceptor belts

Disclosed is an electrophotographic photosensitive body which is remarkably improved in pencil scratch resistance and wear resistance. Specifically disclosed is an electrophotographic photosensitive body wherein a polycarbonate resin having a structural unit (1) represented by the formula below is used as a binder resin for a photosensitive layer (or for a charge-transporting layer in case of multilayer type) which is formed on a conductive base. Electrophotographic photosensitive body

An electrophotographic photoreceptor which is excellent in wear resistance and crack resistance and has a long photoreceptor lifetime can be produced by using a polycarbonate resin composition prepared by blending 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin with 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a silicone-modified polyurethane obtained by reacting (a) a diol component represented by the general formula (I) with (b) an active hydrogen containing polysiloxane compound, (c) a polyisocyanate component and, if necessary, (d) a chain extender as the material for the backing film of a photoreceptor belt. [Chemical formula 1](I) wherein Rand Rare each independently hydrogen or alkyl; Ris hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, halogeno or alkoxycarbonyl; M is a single bond, substituted or unsubstituted alkylene, or oxyalkylene; and n is an integer of 0 to 4. 

Electrophotographic photoreceptor belt

An electrophotographic photosensitive body which has both good image stability and wear resistance under high temperature and high humidity conditions can be obtained by using a novel polycarbonate resin, which contains a structural unit represented by the general formula (I) below and having a long-chain unsaturated hydrocarbon group having a double bond, as a binder resin for a charge transport layer of an electrophotographic photosensitive body. In the formula (I), R-Rpreferably represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, respectively; a represents a number of 7-20; and Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a phenyl group. Particularly preferably, the structural unit represented by the general formula (I) below is derived from 1,1-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methylphenyl)-10-undecene or 1,1-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-10-undecene.

Polycarbonate resin and electrophotographic photosensitive body using the same

The present invention provides an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent lubricity and abrasion resistance by using a novel polycarbonate resin comprising structural units having a polysiloxane chain in the shape of grafts as represented by the following general formula (1) with a viscosity-average molecular weight of 12,000 to 100,000 as a binder resin for a charge transport layer of a electrophotographic photoreceptor.  wherein Rto Reach independently represents hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group or an aralkyl group.
