A thermal electric power generator includes an evaporator, an expander, an electric generator, a condenser, and a pump. A working fluid used in the thermal electric power generator is an organic working fluid. The evaporator includes a heat exchanger, a bypass channel, and a flow rate adjustment mechanism. The bypass channel allows a heat medium to bypass the heat exchanger. The flow rate adjustment mechanism adjusts a flow rate of the heat medium to be supplied to the heat exchanger and a flow rate of the heat medium to be supplied to the bypass channel.

Thermal electric power generator

An air cooling unit is an air cooling unit used in a Rankine cycle system and includes an expander and a condenser. The expander recovers energy from a working fluid by expanding the working fluid. The condenser cools the working fluid using air. The air cooling unit includes a heat-transfer reducer that reduces heat transfer between the expander and an air path.

A combined heat and power system according the present disclosure includes a Rankine cycle apparatus including an evaporator that heats a working fluid by heat exchange between the working fluid and a heat source medium, an expansion machine that converts expansion power of the working fluid into rotational power, and a condenser that cools the working fluid by heat exchange between the working fluid and a heat medium, and a thermal circuit for using the heat medium heated by the condenser. An expansion volume ratio of the expansion machine is equal to or less than an expansion ratio in a theoretical Rankine cycle determined based on a state of a temperature and a pressure of the working fluid at a discharge port of the expansion machine and a state of a temperature and a pressure of the working fluid at a suction port of the expansion machine.

A thermal power generation apparatus includes a control circuit that selects a single operation mode from among a plurality of modes including a normal mode and a specific mode on the basis of a voltage in a commercial system. The normal mode is an operation mode in which alternating-current power output from an inverter is adjusted so that a direct-current voltage in a direct-current power line follows a target voltage. The specific mode is an operation mode in which direct-current power absorbed by an electric power absorber and/or the amount of heat per unit time supplied to a heat engine are/is adjusted so that the direct-current voltage follows the target voltage.

Thermal power generation apparatus and thermal power generation system

A permanent magnet synchronous machine includes a rotor including a core body and an overhang protruding further in an axial direction than a core of a stator. An end surface of the core body includes an N-region disposed on a north pole and an S-region disposed on a south pole. The overhang includes first permanent magnets arranged along an outer edge of the end surface with distances therebetween and a plurality of second permanent magnets disposed on the end surface and adjacent to the first permanent magnets. The first permanent magnets include at least one of a permanent magnet comprising a north pole facing the N-region and a permanent magnet comprising a south pole facing the S-region. The second permanent magnets are provided in the configuration which causes the second permanent magnets to generate a magnetic flux extending from the S-region toward the N-region.

Permanent magnet synchronous machine

A Rankine cycle device in the present disclosure includes an evaporator as a heater, an expander, a cooler, a first temperature sensor, a second temperature sensor, and a control device. The first temperature sensor detects a temperature of the working fluid flowing from an outlet of the heater to an inlet of the expander in the circuit of the working fluid. The second temperature sensor detects a temperature of the working fluid flowing from an outlet of the expander to an inlet of the cooler. The controller controls a number of rotation of the expander based on a difference between a detected temperature of the first temperature sensor and a detected temperature of the second temperature sensor.

Rankine cycle device

A power generation control system includes a converter and a controller. The converter controls a generator of a Rankine cycle system, the Rankine cycle system including an expander, the generator, which is interconnected to the expander, a pump which feeds a working fluid, and an evaporator which evaporates a working fluid. The controller causes the converter to execute, in at least one of a startup operation and a shutdown operation of the Rankine cycle system, first control in at least one of a startup operation and a shutdown operation of the Rankine cycle system such that the expander is prevented from expanding a working fluid if the working fluid at an outlet of the evaporator contains a liquid component while the pump is operating.

A synchronous motor drive system improves the design flexibility regarding torque characteristics as compared with conventionally available design flexibility. A synchronous motor has a rotor and a stator. Each of at least two adjacent stator teeth has a slit formed at the tip thereof. Each of a plurality of stator teeth has a main coil wound therearound in concentrated winding. Between each two adjacent teeth having a slit, a sub-coil is wound around in a manner of being accommodated in the respective slits. The drive device separately controls electric current supplied to the main coils and electric current supplied to the sub-coil.

To provide a motor including: an annular stator including permanent magnets and stator cores that are alternately arranged circumferentially, and coils; an annular outer-rotor being arranged outside the stator, having a rotational axis coincident with a central axis of the stator, and having first salient poles; and an annular inner-rotor being arranged inside the stator, having a rotational axis coincident with the central axis to rotate in conjunction with the outer-rotor, and having second salient poles equal in number to the first salient poles, the magnets are magnetized circumferentially and extend radially, and each have respective ends that are opened toward the outer-rotor and toward inner-rotor in the radial direction, the coils are each wound by concentrated-winding on a tooth constituted from a different one magnet and respective parts of two stator cores adjacent to the magnet, and the first and second salient poles are arranged at offset positions circumferentially.

A synchronous motor which has reduced torque ripple while having a high torque includes a rotor and a stator, and U-phase coils, V-phase coils, and W phase coils are wound around sections of the yoke each located between two adjacent stator teeth. The number of turns in each coil and the direction in which each coil is wound are set to compensate for a difference between a timing at which a magnetic field produced at each stator tooth is at a maximum value and a timing at which a point between magnetic poles passes by the stator tooth as the rotor rotates, the difference in timing being caused by a difference between the interval between the magnetic poles and the interval between the stator teeth.

Synchronous motor and system for driving synchronous motor

A synchronous electric motor includes rotor having a plurality of radially-oriented magnetic dipoles and a stator. Stator teeth group with a plurality of sets of stator teeth are arranged in the same position in terms of an electrical angle with another stator teeth group to provide rotational symmetry about an axis of the rotor. In each of the stator teeth groups a predetermined number of stator teeth are arranged at intervals different from intervals of the rotor magnetic dipoles. A main coil is wound about a predetermined number of stator teeth with a sub-coil further wound around one or more a teeth. Phase and magnitude of a resulting magnetic field is adjusted by the number of loops of the main coil and sub-coil. A given stator tooth can produce maximum torque despite any difference between an alignment of the stator tooth and an inter-polar interval of the stator.

Provided is a synchronous motor including a rotor having magnetic poles distributed circumferentially along a rotation direction of the rotor at equal intervals, and a stator having stator teeth arranged circumferentially along the rotation direction of the rotor, each tooth wound with a stator coil by concentrated winding. Every M consecutive stator teeth belong to one of stator teeth groups arranged at equal intervals. The M consecutive stator teeth in each stator teeth group are arranged at intervals different from the intervals of the magnetic poles of the rotor. The stator coils wound around the M consecutive stator teeth are connected to separate terminals. A motor driver supplies currents of different phases to the stator coils via the respective terminals.

Provided is a synchronous motor comprising a rotor that includes magnetic poles arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, and a stator that includes stator teeth arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction. Stator teeth other than a reference tooth are displaced from positions corresponding to integral multiples of the phase difference of two-phase alternating currents with respect the stator tooth in electrical angle. Both a first-type coil supplied with a first phase and a second-type coil supplied with a second phase are wound by concentrated winding on the stator teeth arranged at the displaced positions.
