A switch device includes an operation unit, a switch unit detachably attached to the operation unit, and an engagement portion provided at the operation unit. The switch unit includes an opening-closing contact mechanism opened in association with an operation of the operation unit, and a drive portion driving the opening-closing contact mechanism to an open condition at a standby position and to a closed condition at a usage position. When the operation unit is attached to the switch unit, the engagement portion engages the drive portion to drive the drive portion from the standby position to the usage position. When the operation unit is inserted to the switch unit, the operation unit and the switch unit are engaged at the usage position.

Switch device

A rotational operation type switch includes a frame; a rotational operation button rotatably supported on the frame for rotational operation; a switching contact mechanism disposed below the operation button to face the operation button; and an operation mechanism disposed between the operation button and the switching contact mechanism, to switch the switching contact mechanism in conjunction with the rotational operation of the operation button. The switching contact mechanism includes a printed circuit board, a plurality of fixed contact electrodes disposed on the printed circuit board and spaced a predetermined distance away from each other, and a movable contact having a disc spring shape and disposed bridging between the plurality of fixed contact electrodes. The movable contact deforms to contact and separate from the fixed contact electrodes and switches an electrical connection between the fixed contact electrodes.

Rotational operation type switch

A switch device includes an operation unit having a pushbutton for performing a pushing operation; a switch unit separably joined to the operation unit, the switch unit including an opening-closing contact mechanism opened or closed in conjunction with the pushing operation of the pushbutton of the operation unit, and a rotary drive plate rotating between a standby position and a usage position; and an engagement portion engaging the operation unit to the rotary drive plate to rotary-drive the rotary drive plate from the standby position to the usage position when the operation unit is attached to the switch unit. The operation unit is detached from or attached to the switch unit to set the opening-closing contact mechanism in respectively predetermined opening-closing states.

A bearing mechanism has a rotary member made of a resin, having a cylindrical bearing integrally formed thereof and protruding from a side surface of the rotary member; a base member made of a resin and rotatably supporting the rotary member, the base member having a support shaft protruding from a position facing the cylindrical bearing of the rotary member; and an urging member constantly urging the rotary member in a predetermined direction. The cylindrical bearing of the rotary member has a bearing hole to fit and insert the support shaft of the base member.

Bearing mechanism for compact rotary member

A latching relay has a fixed iron core including an exciting coil wound around an intermediate portion and a magnetic pole piece at two ends; movable iron pieces sandwiching a permanent magnet between two bar-shaped iron pieces disposed in parallel with each other, and are fixed with a holder; and a switchable electrical contact portion. The fixed iron core and the movable iron pieces are disposed facing each other to insert each of the magnetic pole pieces on two sides of the fixed iron core to be spaced apart in a space between the two bar-shaped iron pieces of two end portions of the movable iron pieces. The movable iron pieces are supported pivotally in a direction in which the two bar-shaped iron pieces are aligned. The movable iron pieces are linked to the electrical contact portion, and the movable iron pieces perform a switching of the electrical contact portion.

Latching relay

An operation portion and a switch portion of a push button switch are removably coupled. The switch portion includes a contact opening mechanism having a rotatably supported lever and a spring. The lever has one end acting on a part of the operation portion coupled with the switch portion, and the other end acting on a contact switching mechanism of the switching contact unit in the switch portion to open/close the contacts. The spring urges the lever in a fixed rotation direction. The contact switching mechanism is urged to move a movable contact from a standby state position toward an operating state position by the contact opening mechanism when the switch portion is separated from the operation portion. The contact switching mechanism is released from the urging when the switch portion is coupled with the operation portion.
