An accelerator device includes a pad, a case portion having a front wall with an opening, a rear wall, a first side wall and a second side wall, an internal movable mechanism with a shaft, and an arm. The first side wall has a first bearing portion for receiving one end of the shaft, and at least one first groove portion provided vertically below a central axis of a surface facing the shaft of the first bearing portion and connected to the first bearing portion. The second side wall has a second bearing portion for receiving the other end of the shaft, and at least one second groove portion provided vertically below a central axis of a surface facing the shaft of the second bearing portion and connected to the second bearing portion.

Accelerator device

An accelerator device includes a case provided on a floor, a pad arranged outside the case to be stepped on by a driver, a pedal arranged in the case to be rotatable in an accelerator opening direction by a stepping force of the pad, an arm connecting the pad to the pedal, and a biasing member configured to bias the pedal in an accelerator closing direction. One end of the arm is press-fitted into a connecting portion of the pad in a press-fitting direction. At least one of the arm or the pad is provided with a play removing part that is configured to eliminate a play between the one end of the arm and the connecting portion in the press-fitting direction by contacting the one end of the arm and the connecting portion.

In an accelerator device, a pedal is rotatable in an accelerator opening direction by a pedaling force of a pad. An arm connects the pedal to the pad. A biasing member biases the pedal in an accelerator closing direction via the arm. The arm has a shaft portion that is assembled to the pad, and the pad has a pair of support walls that rotatably support the shaft portion. The pair of support walls have wall surfaces facing each other, each of the which is provided with a bearing portion and a thickening portion. The thickening portion includes a curved surface or a slope surface having a surface area broader as a distance from the bearing portion increases.

An accelerator device having an organ structure includes a pad, a case, an inside movable mechanism, an arm, and a cover. The pad is pressed by a driver. The case is attachable to a vehicle body and includes a front wall, a rear wall, and an opened side. The inside movable mechanism is housed in the case and includes a shaft, a pedal, and a bias member. The arm penetrates an opening of the case so as to connect the pad to the pedal. The cover covers the opened side. The case on the vehicle body includes a drain passage positioned below a lowest position of a root of the pedal in a movement track while the pedal is moved from an accelerator idle state to an accelerator full-throttle state.

An accelerator device includes a pad, a case having an internal accommodation space, an internal movable mechanism, and an arm configured to connect the pad and the internal movable mechanism. When the case is viewed from the side of the pad, a fully open stopper is provided on an outer wall surface of the case at a position in an outer circumference of an area that overlaps with the internal accommodation space.

A pedal device includes a base disposed on an inner wall surface of a vehicle body, a pedal pad movable relative to the base, and a pad fixation portion configured to fix the pedal pad to be immovable relative to the base.

Pedal device

An accelerator device includes a pedal pad and a strain gauge. When a driver of a vehicle having the accelerator device depresses the pedal pad, the pedal pad is deformed in a direction of a blank arrow. The strain gauge senses the displacement amount of the pedal pad in the direction of the blank arrow and outputs an electric signal, which corresponds to the displacement amount, to an outside as the depression amount of the accelerator device. When the driver removes a foot from the pedal pad, the pedal pad returns to a state of the pedal pad that is not depressed by the driver. Therefore, it is possible to limit occurrence of that the depression amount of the pedal pad becomes an unintended value due to, for example, catching of the pedal pad by a floor mat. As a result, the accelerator device can reliably sense the depression amount.

The pedal device includes a pedal portion which the operator depresses, a pedal effort detecting portion being configured to detect the magnitude of the pedal effort in the depression direction when the operator depresses the pedal portion and being configured to output a signal corresponding to the magnitude of the pedal effort to the outside.

An acceleration device includes: a support portion that has a communication passage, which communicates between a receiving space and an outside; a shaft that is rotatably supported by the support portion; a pedal boss portion that is located on a radially outer side of the shaft and is rotatable integrally with the shaft in the communication passage; a rotational angle sensor that is operable to sense a rotational angle of the shaft relative to the support portion; a pedal spring that urges rotation of the shaft in an accelerator closing direction; and a projection that is formed in a communication passage inner wall, which is an inner wall of the communication passage and is opposed to a boss portion outer wall of the pedal boss portion. The projection projects from the communication passage inner wall in a radially inward direction.

Acceleration device

A pedal device includes a housing; a pedal arm rotatably supported by the housing; a biasing portion biasing the pedal arm; and a stopper having a contact face to contact an edge of an opening of the housing. The pedal arm passes through the opening of the housing. The stopper has a groove extending from the contact face, and the groove is inclined downward in a gravity direction, when the housing is mounted to a vehicle and when the contact face of the stopper contacts the edge of the housing.

A throttle device comprises a throttle valve having a circular body and a compensation member made of resin. The body has an upstream half rotatable at an upstream side with respect to a throttle shaft and a downstream half rotatable at a downstream side with respect thereto. The compensation member is installed on the upstream half at a downstream side thereof and bulged toward an inner wall of a throttle body. When the throttle valve rotates in an open direction from a closed position, the area of an intake air passage at the upstream half is smaller than the area of a passage at the downstream half and thus, the difference between the flow velocity at the upstream half and that at the downstream half can be reduced. Accordingly, it is possible to restrict the flow of the intake air from becoming oblique to the axis of the intake air passage and hence measure the flow rate of the intake air accurately.
