The composite materials for cooking apparatuses are produced by applying, to the substrate, the material comprising a fluorine-containing ethylenic polymer having functional group which is prepared by copolymerizing (a) 0.05 to 30% by mole of at least one of fluorine-containing ethylenic monomers having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, carboxyl, a carboxylic salt group, a carboxylic ester group and epoxy, and (b) 70 to 99.95% by mole of at least one of fluorine-containing ethylenic monomers having no functional group mentioned above.

To provide a fluorine-containing adhesive which maintains thermal resistance, chemical resistance, weather resistance and electric insulating property and has strong adhesive property directly to substrates particularly metal and glass, and an adhesive film and laminated article which are obtained by using the fluorine-containing adhesive. To provide the fluorine-containing material which is capable of giving various products, particularly products and parts for OA equipment, is excellent in flexibility, mechanical strength, viscoelasticity and mold-processability and possesses improved non-tackiness. The flexible fluorine-containing material comprises (a) the fluorine-containing multi-segment polymer having the elastomeric fluorine-containing polymer chain segment A and the non-elastomeric fluorine-containing polymer chain segment B in which the elastomeric fluorine-containing polymer chain segment A comprises not less than 90% by mole of a perhaloolefin unit and (b) the fluorine-containing resin having a crystalline melting point or glass transition temperature of not less than 150&deg; C., in which a weight ratio (a)/(b) is 1/99 to 99/1.

A composite material having sliding property is produced by applying, to a substrate, a material comprising a fluorine-containing ethylenic polymer having functional group which is prepared by copolymerizing (a) 0.05 to 30% by mole of at least one of fluorine-containing ethylenic monomers having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, carboxyl, a carboxylic salt group, a carboxylic ester group and epoxy, and (b) 70 to 99.95% by mole of at least one of fluorine-containing ethylenic monomers having no functional group mentioned above. The composite material having sliding property which is produced by applying, to the substrate, the material comprising the fluorine-containing polymer having an excellent adhesive property to the substrate without necessitating complicated steps.

To provide a fluorine-containing coating material which gives excellent adhesive strength directly to a substrate such as metal, glass, etc. with maintaining excellent characteristics of the fluorine-containing polymer such as thermal resistance, chemical resistance, non-sticking property and low friction property, and a method for coating the material. A non-sticking composite material for office automation equipment which is produced by applying, to a substrate, a material comprising a fluorine-containing polymer having an excellent adhesive property to the substrate without necessitating complicated steps and is excellent in heat resistance, non-sticking property, stain-proofing property, water- and oil-repelling property, stain removing property, chemical resistance, rust-preventive property, antibacterial property, resistance to energy ray and abrasion resistance. Non-sticking composite materials for office automation equipment

To provide the water-repellent coating film having excellent transparency, abrasion resistance, weather resistance and water repellency, the method for producing the coating film, the multi-functional composite material provided with the coating film and the coating composition used therefor which has excellent dispersion stability. The coating composition comprises (A) the fluorine-containing ethylenic polymer prepared by copolymerizing a fluorine-containing ethylenic monomer having at least one functional group selected from hydroxyl, carboxyl, a carboxylic salt group, a carboxylic ester group and epoxy, (B-1) the metal oxide sol, and (C) the solvent.
