An apparatus for supporting arrangement of operation areas layout includes: a storage unit that stores therein data on a position, a shape, and a use period of each operation area which has already been arranged in a prescribed site; a display control unit that references the data stored in the storage unit and makes a display unit display a top view illustrating arrangement of the operation areas at a given point of time on a temporal axis; and an operation areas layout arrangement processing unit that receives an input of a data on a position, a shape, and a use period of an operation area to be added into the prescribed site, references the data stored in the storage unit, and, if the received and added operation area is not determined to interfere with other already-arranged operation area, stores the data on the added operation area in the storage unit.

System and method for visualizing the construction progress of scaffolding utilizing 3D CAD models

A scheduling system and a CAD system are used to prepare a construction plan in plant construction simulation. A construction work managed by the scheduling system and a plant part used in the construction work and managed by the CAD system, are managed in association with each other. When the plant part is broken down into a plurality of lower plant parts constituting the plant part, as a plurality of lower construction works of the construction work, the processing for associating the lower plant parts with the lower construction works is performed. Data for mutually associating the construction works and the plant parts based on the processing is generated. The generated data is used to mutually link the scheduling system and the CAD system, and a situation in which appropriate parts are installed as progress of the construction work, is displayed.

Apparatus for assisting decisions for improvement of environmental load

A technique for detecting an abnormal behavior by monitoring moving objects such as human being and a car. The place where the abnormal behavior of the moving objects occurs is deduced from the position of the moving object and the direction in which the moving object moves and presented to the car. An abnormal detector comprises means for determining the position of the moving object and the direction in which the moving object moves, means for determining the place where an abnormal incident causing an abnormal behavior of the moving object occurs on the basis of the determined position and direction, and means for displaying the place where the abnormal incident occurs. Therefore it is possible to immediately know the cause of the abnormal behavior of the moving object from the video information collected by observation monitoring moving objects such as a human being and a car.

There are provided apparatuses for generating the motion path of an object. One apparatus includes an input unit for inputting information representative of the position of a start point of the motion of an object, at least one of the magnitude and direction of a velocity at the start point, an end point of the motion of the object, and at least one of the magnitude and direction of a velocity at the end point, and a calculation unit for calculating a motion path from the start point to the end point, in accordance with the information inputted to the input unit. As an alternative of the position and velocity of an object, the rotary angle and angular velocity of an object may be used to represent the facing direction of the object. Another apparatus includes a display device for displaying information of the position of an object and an icon representative of the time corresponding to the position of the object, and a calculator for calculating information representative of the motion path, in accordance with the information entered by the icon and information representative of at least one of the magnitude and direction of a velocity at the position of the object. The motion path is then displayed on the screen. The motion of an object can be easily defined and smoothly coupled to a succeeding or preceding motion on each key frame. A three-dimensional graphic system includes a scene origination equipment, a rendering apparatus and a display device. The user interface unit of the scene origination equipment displays on the display screen of the display device. The image generation unit of the scene origination equipment displays the cursor on the display screen, and generates an image in which the point generated with the cursor and points vicinal to the generated point are drawn at densities conforming to the determined relationship. The rendering apparatus generates a video graphic in which the generated image is mapped on an object and displays the video graphic on the display screen.

A television broadcasting system intended to bestow a certain level of selectivity on compression systems and multiplexing systems for broadcast program pictures. A transmitting equipment transmits the broadcast program pictures, and transmits control information on transmission systems for the transmitted broadcast program pictures. A receiving equipment includes a reception module which receives a program channel having a plurality of sorts of video information multiplexed therein, selected by a viewer, and also the control information concerning the selected program channel. A reception controller commands a signal separator to produce the outputs of the video information interleaved in those positions of the program channel which are designated by the control information. Besides, the reception controller sends a decoder a decoding program contained in the control information. The decoder executes the sent decoding program so as to decode the output video information of the signal separator and to display the decoded video information on a display unit.

In a graphic data processing system of a CAD system for the design of an LSI, there is provided a display screen, a storage in which graphic data structured in the hierarchy of three levels, i.e. a functional block diagram level, a logical symbol level and a circuit component level, and a pointing device for designating a window within the display screen. The display method of the present invention is characterized in that the size of a designated window is judged and the graphic data of the concept level corresponding to the judged size of the window is read out and displayed within the window.
