This repair method for a hollow fiber membrane module is a method for repairing a leaking section occurring in the hollow fiber membrane module, the repair method having a repair step for using a repair adhesive that hardens due to a composite curing function that comprises a moisture-curing function and a photo-curing function, to repair the leaking section.

The invention provides a hollow fiber membrane exhibiting a favorable gas permeation performance and an excellent heat resistance in which the generation of pinholes are suppressed, and a hollow fiber membrane module using the same. The hollow fiber membrane comprising a gas permeable nonporous layer; and a porous supporting layer to support the nonporous layer formed of a thermoplastic elastomer having a DSC melting peak temperature of 130&#xb0; C. or higher and a rupture elongation prescribed in ISO 37 (2010) of 300% or more.

This composite hollow fiber membrane comprises a non-porous homogeneous layer which is gas-permeable and a porous support layer which supports said homogeneous layer, and is characterized in that the non-porous homogeneous layer is hydrophobic and the polyolefin resin constituting the porous support layer contains a hydrophilic additive. By this means, a composite hollow fiber membrane for use in degassing can be provided that is hydrophilic, has high water vapor permeability, and can solve the problem of gas permeability being reduced due to condensate in the porous substance.

This composite hollow fiber membrane comprises a gas-permeable non-porous homogeneous layer which has a polyolefin resin (A) as the main component and a porous support layer which is made of a polyolefin resin (B) and which supports said non-porous homogeneous layer, and the composite hollow fiber membrane is characterized in that the polyolefin resin (A) of non-porous homogeneous layer is a block copolymer of ethylene units and at least one type of olefin unit selected from &#x3b1;-olefin units having a carbon number of 3-20. The present invention pertains to a polyolefin-composite hollow-fiber membrane and a manufacturing method for the same, said polyolefin-composite hollow-fiber membrane having: a homogenous membrane layer formed from polyolefins having a metal flow rate measured in accordance with JIS K7210 code D of 1.0 g/10 minutes, or less, and an Mw/Mn ratio of not more than 4.0; and a porous membrane layer which is formed from polyolefins having an Mw/Mn ratio of 8.0-12.0. The present invention also pertains to a hollow-fiber membrane module which is equipped with the polyolefin-composite hollow-fiber membrane. The present invention enables the provision of a polyolefin-composite hollow-fiber membrane, a manufacturing method for the same and a hollow-fiber membrane module; the polyolefin-composite hollow-fiber membrane has excellent solvent resistance and gas permeability, and when used in the deaeration of dissolved gas in a drug solution, can suppress leakage of the drug solution to a high degree, and can efficiently reduce the amount of dissolved gas.

A hydrophilizing agent for a hydrophobic porous membrane, wherein the agent contains a surfactant, and the surfactant has a frothability such that the bubble height immediately after frothing, as measured according to the Ross-Miles method (JIS K 3362), using a 0.1 wt % aqueous solution of the surfactant at 25&#xb0; C., is 40 mm or less, and preferably has a frothability such that the bubble height five minutes after frothing is 20 mm or less; a method for hydrophilizing a hydrophobic porous membrane using this hydrophilizing agent; and a method for testing and hydrophilizing a membrane module using this hydrophilizing agent.
