A vibration device includes an internal vibration body to amplify a vibration, a piezoelectric element connected to one end of the internal vibration body, and a light transmission body connected to an another end of the internal vibration body. The vibration device further includes an external vibration body including a first connection portion connected to the light transmission body and a second connection portion extending outward of the light transmission body from the first connection portion to attenuate the vibration.

Cleaning device, imaging unit including the same, and cleaning method

A cleaning device includes a protection cover, a vibrator, a piezoelectric driver, and a signal processing circuit. When the signal processing circuit determines that foreign matter is adhered to a surface of the protection cover, it controls the piezoelectric driver such that vibration of the protection cover has a vibration acceleration of about 1.5×10m/s. When the signal processing circuit determines that the foreign matter is adhered to the surface of the protection cover when control of the driver such that vibration of the protection cover has a prescribed vibration acceleration, the protection cover is warmed with a warmer. After the protection cover is warmed, the signal processing circuit controls the piezoelectric driver such that vibration of the protection cover has a resonant frequency.

Cleaning device, imaging unit equipped with cleaning device, and cleaning method

A current sensor that outputs an output signal according to a signal magnetic field that is generated by a current to be measured is provided. The current sensor includes at least one magnetic sensor, a temperature sensor, an amplifier, and an offset adjusting circuit. The magnetic sensor generates a sensor signal commensurate with the signal magnetic field. The temperature sensor detects an ambient temperature. The amplifier amplifies the sensor signal at an amplification rate commensurate with the detected temperature and generates the output signal. The offset adjusting circuit adjusts an offset of the output signal. The offset adjusting circuit adjusts an offset in accordance with a relationship (mathematical expression) that holds between an output signal under no signal magnetic field and an amplification rate corresponding to the temperature.

Current sensor, and manufacturing method for current sensor

A magnetic sensor senses a magnetic field in a predetermined magnetic sensing direction. The magnetic sensor includes a chip on which at least one magnetic device is provided. The length of the chip in the magnetic sensing direction is twice or more the length of the chip in an orthogonal direction that is orthogonal or substantially orthogonal to the magnetic sensing direction.

Magnetic sensor and current sensor

A current sensor outputs an output voltage in accordance with a magnitude of a current to be measured. The current sensor includes a conductor through which a current flows, magnetic sensors, and correctors. The magnetic sensors detect a strength of a magnetic field generated by the current and output an output voltage corresponding to the strength of the magnetic field as the output voltage from the current sensor. The correctors each correct fluctuations in magneto-electric conversion gains of the magnetic sensors caused by a change in an ambient temperature and fluctuations in the output voltages from the magnetic sensors caused by deformation of the conductor due to a change in the ambient temperature.
