A transmission control device controls a CVT installed in a vehicle. The device has, as modes for the CVT, a CVT mode Mfor changing a transmission gear ratio steplessly based on the operating state of the vehicle, and a stepped transmission mode Mfor changing the transmission gear ratio stepwise based on the operating state of the vehicle. The device includes a transmission mode switching control unit (controller)for controlling switching between the CVT mode Mand the stepped transmission mode Mbased on an actual accelerator opening. The transmission mode switching control unit (controller)performs switching from the CVT mode Mto the stepped transmission mode M, if the actual accelerator opening reaches or exceeds a first threshold value Tset in a plurality of stages so as to increase stepwise in accordance with an increase in a vehicle speed.

Transmission control device

The control apparatus for a vehicle includes a determination unit that determines whether or not a start condition is established, the start condition including when a torque converter is in a lockup state, and when the vehicle is in an accelerating state; and a display control unit that causes an acting number of rotations to be displayed on a tachometer instead of an actual number of rotations when it is determined by the determination unit that the start condition is established. The display control unit calculates the acting number of rotations based on a target value of an input number of rotations of a continuously variable transmission, and varies the acting number of rotations with a rate of change having an absolute value that is greater than an absolute value of a rate of change of the actual number of rotations upon an abrupt change in the target value.

Control apparatus for vehicle

A control apparatus for a vehicle includes a determination unit that determines whether or not a start condition is established, the start condition including a torque converter is in a non-lock-up state and the vehicle is starting; and a display control unit that causes a virtual number of rotations to be displayed on a tachometer instead of an actual number of rotations when it is determined by the determination unit that the start condition is established. The display control unit calculates an acting number of rotations by referring to the actual number of rotations and a number of rotations on a driving wheel side relative to the torque converter in an automatic transmission, and causes the acting number of rotations to be displayed on the tachometer as the virtual number of rotations.

There is provided with an automatic transmission () having a clutch () and a brake device () which holds a brake force during a stop of an engine (). There is provided with an engine control section () which performs an automatic stop of the engine and a re-start of the engine and a release control section () which releases a holding of the brake force during the re-start of the engine. The release control section () releases the holding of the brake force when an engagement state of the clutch () is a predetermined state in case where an accelerator off state occurs until the engagement state of the clutch () becomes the predetermined state and releases the holding of the brake force when the engagement state of the clutch () is an engagement state weaker than the predetermined state, during a re-start of the engine ().

A hydraulic control device includes an oil pump for generating a hydraulic pressure by being rotated by power of a driving force source, a driving force source stopping unit that stops rotation of the driving force source when a predetermined condition holds, and a cut-off unit that cuts off transmission of the power from the driving force source to the oil pump when the driving force source rotates in a reverse direction as the rotation of the driving force source is stopped by the driving force source stopping unit.

A vehicle control device controls a vehicle that has an electric oil pump, executes idling stop control for stopping a drive source when predetermined conditions are satisfied, and is capable of applying a braking force in a state where a brake pedal is released. The vehicle control device determines whether or not the vehicle is stopped, determines whether or not the electric oil pump is driven, and executes the idling stop control when stop of the vehicle is determined, driving of the electric oil pump is determined, and the braking force is applied to the vehicle. Application of the braking force is started after the vehicle is determined to be stopped and the electric oil pump is determined to be driven.

A coast stop vehicle which stops an engine during the travel of the vehicle is provided with a variator including a pair of pulleys and a belt mounted between the pulleys and capable of continuously changing a speed ratio. A controller judges whether or not coast stop conditions to stop the engine during the travel of the vehicle hold, stops the engine when the coast stop conditions hold, and prevents the speed ratio from being upshifted to a higher side than a speed ratio at the time of starting the coast stop control during the coast stop control.
