Data collection device and data collection method

A plurality of apparatuses mounted on cars are monitored and controlled by control devices mounted on the cars. A display device capable of displaying apparatus information of the apparatuses is mounted on a driver's cab. A display screen of the display device is configured by arranging a plurality of display components by which apparatus information of each of the apparatuses can be displayed. A software generating device determines arrangement positions of the display components arranged on the display screen, automatically generates layout design data of the display screen, and automatically generates software for generating the display screen on the basis of the layout design data. The arrangement positions of the display components respectively representing the apparatuses when a number of apparatuses of the same type are monitored and controlled by one and the same control device are determined according to arrangement rule information that is exceptional rules.

Software generating device

A motorman's cab display system includes a motorman's cab display apparatus that can automatically adjust display luminance of a display device without using an illuminance sensor. The motorman's cab display apparatus determines, based on location information of a train transmitted from a train information control system, whether the train is traveling in a tunnel, sets, when determining that the train is traveling in the tunnel, as the luminance of a display screen, luminance for inside of tunnel set in advance, and sets, when determining that the train is traveling outside the tunnel, as luminance of the display screen, luminance information for outside of tunnel set in advance. First and second vehicle-side connectors that respectively have a ground terminal that is grounded to the vehicles and have a plurality of signal transmission-path terminals, and a vehicle connection cable that is mounted, at both ends, with first and second connectors, and has a plurality of connection-signal transmission paths that connect the connection-signal transmission-path terminals of the first and second connectors, and has a shielding layer that shields the connection-signal transmission paths and is connected to only one of the respective connection ground terminals of the first and second connectors.

Train information transmitting and receiving system

Means for Solution In a video information distribution and display system carried on a train or car, compressed static image video information scheduled to be displayed next is expanded and prepared by extracting and storing into a display storage part in advance, or the like, in accordance with an image control signal (display command) sent thereto together with video information, and the static image is displayed by seamlessly switching from a currently displayed video image at content switching timing of the display command.

Video information distribution and display system

A delivery control central device installed in a lead car of a train delivers video information including moving image information and still image information to a delivery control terminal device of each subsequent car via an inter-car transmission path. The video information is delivered based on video content and a content display schedule that are both wirelessly received from a ground station through a transceiver device. The delivery control terminal device of each car is sequentially connected to the delivery control terminal device of an adjacent car, sequentially delivers the delivered video information to the adjacent car, and delivers the delivered video information to a video output device via an in-car transmission path inside its own car. A video output device generates video signals from the delivered video information, outputs the video signals to a display device, and displays the video signals by the display device.

On-train information transmitting/receiving system

In an information distribution system for outputting information using an information output unit that is distributed from an information distribution unit, it is an object of the present invention to obtain an information distribution system capable of readily changing information in a short time to be outputted from the information output unit. In order to achieve this object, an information distribution system includes an output unit () for outputting information to be provided to a user, a distribution unit () for distributing a piece of information to the output unit () as the information to be provided, the piece of information being selected from several pieces of information prepared in advance, and an input unit () connected to the distribution unit () through a communication line and inputting a control signal to the distribution unit () through the communication line, the control signal selecting the information to be provided from the several pieces of information.

Information delivery system

A conventional display system carried on a railroad train has the problem that it cannot distribute image signal to the cars of the train when image information output means mounted in a lead car breaks down. Accordingly, a display system to be carried on a railroad train according to the invention includes: first image information output means provided in a given car in a train of a plurality of connected cars, for outputting first image information; second image information output means provided in a given car of said train, for outputting second image information; and display means provided in a given car of said train, for switchably displaying said first image information transmitted from said first image information output means and said second image information transmitted from said second image information output means.

On-board display system

A system for presenting information to passengers in a conveyance, has a computer which stores operation diagram information; a storage medium which stores a plurality of advertisement data items to be presented to the passengers; and an information presenting device. The computer obtains an operation time in each operation section on the basis of the operation diagram information and identification data for identifying the conveyance, and selects and arranges some of the advertisement data items to generate presentation data for continuously presenting information to the passengers throughout a time period corresponding to the operation time. The information presenting device reproduces the presentation data corresponding to each operation section to present the information to the passengers in each operation section of the conveyance.
