A control valve for a variable displacement compressor, in which the discharge pressure of the compressor introduced into a pressure sensing section applies urging force to a movement member, and a solenoid section applies, in cooperation with the urging force, urging force to the movement member depending on an input signal. The degree of opening of a valve body provided at the movement member is set according to the position of the movement member to regulate the rate of air flow in a communication path for interconnecting a discharge pressure region of the compressor and a compressor inner chamber. The suction pressure of the compressor is introduced into a control valve to apply urging force to the movement member, and communication between fluid having the discharge pressure introduced into the pressure sensing section and fluid having the suction pressure introduced into the control valve is shut off.

Control valve for variable displacement compressor

A capacity control valve includes a solenoid portion; a tube placed in the solenoid portion; and a movable core which forms a slide surface that is fitted to the tube. An actuation rod has a joint portion and a valve body, the joint portion being engaged with an abutting surface of a solenoid rod portion, and the valve body opening or closing a control fluid passage. The joint surface of the solenoid rod portion or the abutting face of the actuation rod has a concave cone-shape surface while the other has a convex cone-shape portion. A bottom face of the concave cone-shape surface is formed as a wide area of either a planar surface or a circular cross section, wherein a head portion of the convex cone-shape portion is truncated to form a truncated cone surface, the truncated cone surface corresponding to the bottom face of the concave cone-shape surface.

Capacity control valve

A control valve includes a diaphragm assembly imparting a biasing force to a moving member according to the pressure introduced into the pressure-sensitive part. The moving member is moved by the biasing force to control the valve opening. The control valve further includes a solenoid part which imparts the thrust of the diaphragm assembly produced according to the pressure introduced into the pressure-sensitive part to the moving member through a diaphragm holding body as a biasing force, and imparts a biasing force capable of controlling the valve opening in cooperation with the afore-said biasing force to the moving member.

Control valve, and control valve for variable displacement compressor using the control valve

A displacement control valve for a variable displacement compressor. The displacement control valve includes a drive force transmission body, a pressure sensitive chamber, an internal passage, and a valve body. The valve body includes an annular seal which is contactable with a valve seat surface facing toward the first valve body. The drive force transmission body includes a drive rod and a valve body structure having a shaft passage and forming the first valve body. The drive rod is fitted to the shaft passage and coupled to the valve body structure so as to form a gap passage between an outer surface of the drive rod and a wall surface of the shaft passage. The internal passage includes a recess arranged radially inward from the annular seal, the shaft passage, and the gap passage. The gap passage is in direct communication with the recess.

Displacement control valve for variable displacement compressor

A capacity control valve, comprising a first valve chamber formed in a valve body, a first fluid passage communicating with the first valve chamber to flow a fluid with a discharge pressure therein, a valve seat formed around a valve port between the first valve chamber and the first fluid passage, a second fluid passage communicating with the first valve chamber to flow the fluid with the discharge pressure therefrom, a second valve chamber communicating with the first valve chamber through a guide hole, a third fluid passage communicating with the second valve chamber to flow the fluid with a suction pressure therein and therefrom, a valve element disposed in the first valve chamber and having a valve part separated from and brought into contact with the valve seat to flow the fluid with the discharge pressure therein and a stem part movably fitted to the guide hole, and a solenoid having a solenoid rod connected to the connection face of the valve element and moving the solenoid rod with a current, A discharge pressure receiving area in a connection surface between the valve part and the valve seat is set larger than the pressure receiving area of the stem part.

Flow control valve

A case main body and an upper plate are reliably fitted together, a seal is formed between the fitting surfaces, and a magnetic circuit is prevented from malfunctioning. A solenoid-controlled valve, which connects a solenoid section () and a valve section (), comprises a cylindrical case main body () having a solenoid coil () housed therein and having a connecting section (A) at one end, an upper plate () having a locking surface (B) adapted to be fitted to the connecting section (A), and a connector () integrally provided with the upper plate (). Solenoid control device

An operating rod is subjected to a surface hardening heat treatment without a post finishing process which enhances a responsiveness of the operating rod by preventing powders from being attracted to a sliding surface of the operating rod. The capacitive control valve includes a solenoid rod portion communicating with a moveable core of the solenoid portion, an operating rod connected with the solenoid rod portion, the operating rod including a valve body used for opening or closing a control fluid passage hole, and a fixed core arranged opposite relative to the moveable core. The fixed core includes a guide hole defined therein which guides the operating rod through the guide hole in a freely moveable manner, the operating rod extending longitudinally through an internal bore. The operating rod being subjected to surface hardening treatment at a relatively low temperature that does not exceed 500&#xb0; C.

A capacity control valve is inserted in a flow path connecting a discharge chamber and a crank chamber of a variable capacity compressor and provided with a valve unit and a drive unit. The valve unit has a valve element for opening/closing the flow path or a valve passage of the valve unit. The drive unit has a movable core or plunger for driving the valve element and a communicating path that is formed in the plunger and connects chambers located in both sides of the plunger.

Capacity control drive

An object of the capacity control valve is to provide a constant, stable control of the pressure load without fluctuations. Also another object is to improve an energy efficiency of the drive torque of the rotary shaft by means of a control of the pressure load. In this arrangement, the solenoid coil section controls as a reference value of pressure load which is calculated by taking a sum of a pressure differential between the discharge pressure and the pressure in the control chamber, multiplied by the area of the open passage of the first valve seat, and a pressure differential between the pressure in the control chamber and the suction pressure, multiplied by the area of the open passage of the second valve seat.

Capacity control valve and control method therefor

A solenoid valve appropriately used for pressure control of various fluids, or the like is concerned, and a solenoid valve is provided, which achieves improvement in sliding property of a plunger and is excellent in control characteristics. More specifically, a plungeris substantially cylindrical-shaped and slidably supported at its outer peripheral side by a sleeve, the plunger being provided with a large-diameter portionwhich constitutes a sliding portion, the large-diameter portionbeing alternately provided with a plurality of convex surface portionsand a plurality of groove portionsand having a cross sectional shape like petals.

Solenoid valve

A substantially cylindrical annular space is formed by an outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical portion and a substantially flat surface portion of a substantially bottomed cylindrical sleeve, an inner circumferential surface of a case member, and a substantially flat surface portion of a bracket plate, a seal member being provided in this annular space. Thus, the simplification of the construction, and the miniaturization and the reduction of the weight is realized while a sealing performance between the inside and outside of the main body is maintained.

A solenoid improvement has been achieved in terms of abrasion resistance. A fluid accumulating chamber Q is formed substantially coaxially with a plunger chamber P and on the opposite side of a center postthrough the intermediation of the plunger chamber P. On the outer peripheral side of the rod, there is provided a first bearingfor separating the plunger chamber P and the fluid accumulating chamber Q from each other.

Solenoid having fluid accumulating and plunger chambers

A casing member is provided at one end thereof with a bent portion, and when a connector member is inserted from an opening on the other end side of the casing member, the connector member is positioned by the bent portion. Workability in assembling is improved and a burden on various solenoid constituents at the time of assembling can be decreased by sequentially inserting all the various solenoid constituents from the opening on the other end side of the casing member after insertion of the connector member, mounting a valve section after a bracket plate is mounted, and performing caulking with projections for caulking, which are provided on an end of a valve sleeve.

A capacity control valve that implements an accurate pressure control of a valve body by preventing unwanted pressures from influencing on the valve body and that alters the function of a control chamber such that the pressure within the control chamber to which a control pressure is supplied can quickly be modulated. In the capacity control valve, a valve opening joint portion which is integral with a valve body can rapidly be disengaged from an engagement portion which is integral with a pressure sensing device, hence a quick lifting of the valve body so as to modulate the capacity or pressure in the control chamber. Also equating, exactly or approximately, the seal pressure receiving area of the valve body to the effective pressure receiving area of the pressure sensing device, and further to the pressure receiving area of an action face, or equating, exactly or approximately, the seal pressure receiving area to the pressure receiving area of an action face, yields only a desired pressure to act on the valve body.
