A free-standing liner unit () is formed by integrating a planar outer tank liner plate (), a planar secondary barrier plate (), and a cold insulator layer () that is interposed between the outer tank liner plate () and the secondary barrier plate () into a single unit. According to this free-standing liner unit (), when building a tank, it is possible to shorten the construction period by performing the formation of the outer tank shell plates and the formation of the tank internal structure concurrently with each other, and to achieve an improvement in the handleability of the free-standing liner unit ().

A method for constructing a cylindrical tank which has a metallic inner tank and a concrete outer tank includes a step of building up a PC wall in an outer circumferential edge portion of a base plate, a step of assembling an outer tank roof on the base plate other than the outer circumferential edge portion of the base plate, a step of lifting the outer tank roof which is on the base plate using a jack-up unit while the PC wall is being built up and then holding the outer tank roof on the PC wall, and a step of assembling the inner tank independently of the outer tank roof in a space under the outer tank roof which is created due to the lifting.

Method for constructing cylindrical tank

A method of constructing a cylindrical tank that has an inner tank made of metal and an outer tank made of concrete has a step of building a PC wall () by erecting lateral liners () sequentially from the bottommost layer to the topmost layer on an outer circumferential edge portion of a base plate, and pouring concrete () so as to follow the erecting of the lateral liners () with the lateral liners () being used as an inner side forming frame.

Lever switch mounting structure

An operation lever structure of a lever switch for a vehicle has a knob, a lever guide inserted inside the knob, and a pair of guide ribs formed in an outer surface of the lever guide. A pair of guide ribs are formed projecting from and integrating with the knob at a position opposed to the pair of the guide ribs of the lever guide and extend to the outer surface of the lever guide between the pair of the guide ribs of the lever guide, wherein harnesses are inserted between the pair of the guide ribs of the knob. Thereby, sandwich of the harnesses on assembly is prevented.

A canceling structure of a combination switch is disclosed, which ensures the returning moment of a cancel cam without increasing the size of a spring. A cancel cam placed on a swing block that can be rotated with a control lever includes pressure contact surfaces on a plane passing through the shaft center of an upper shaft , and the upper shaft is guided along a long hole of a cover. An elastic contact material has pressure surfaces to be brought into contact with the pressure contact surfaces of the cancel cam, and is biased toward the cancel cam along a guide by a coil spring inserted into a blind hole . The pressure surfaces have a shaft-escaping recessed portion forming a predetermined gap between them and the upper shaft when brought into contact with the pressure contact surfaces of the cancel cam. Since the pressure contact surfaces pass through the rotating shaft center, the angel from the shaft center to a contact point with the pressure surface , thereby increasing a returning moment by the pressure of the elastic contact material. Also, since the elastic contact material is long, the movement along the guide becomes smooth.

A lever switch arrangement used for vehicles comprising a first outer lever (3) provided with an operation rod (3a) at a base end portion thereof, a second lever (6) having a cylinder portion (6a) freely inserted into the first lever (3), and a third lever (22) rotatably inserted into the cylinder portion (6a) of the second lever (6). The switch arrangement further comprises a rotary knob (4) fixed at one end of the third lever, and an operation rod (22a) at another end thereof. A movable member (34) adapted to be operated in relation to the third lever (22) has a movable contact (35) and is rotatably fixed on a shaft rod (32a). The shaft rod (32a) is provided with a first substrate (14) at one end of the shaft rod (32a) and a second substrate (32) at another end thereof. The second substrate (32) is provided with a projection rod (32d) to be inserted into a through hole (14c) mounted on the first substrate (14), the second substrate (32) being integrally formed with the shaft rod (32a). The movable member (34) is rotatably disposed between the first substrate (14) and the second substrate (32). The first substrate (14) is adapted to be fixed with a terminal plate (15) having terminals (15a) at the lower end portion of the terminal plate (15) and a through hole (15c). The second substrate (32) is integrally formed with a projection rod (32b) to be inserted into the through hole (15c) of the terminal plate (15).

Lever switch arrangement used for vehicles

A lever switch for vehicles has a first lever 6, a second lever 7, and a third lever 5. The first lever 6 is provided with a first operation rod 9 for operating a first movable member 18 disposed on a pole board 22. In the arm body there are a shaft portion supported pivotably by the case at one end, a thrusting portion driving the movable piece at the other end, and a contacting portion brought into contact with the lever at an approximately central part. A clamp structure for a cord that improves workability during clamping a cord with using a strip band. The clamp structure includes a polarity board 1, and a connector portion 2 projectingly provided on a side surface of the polarity board 1. A corner 3 is formed by the polarity board 1 and the connector portion 2. A cord 4 is provided for transmitting a signal from a rotary switch portion 5a, and a cover 8 is provided for covering a circuit board 7 and the polarity board 1. A strip band 9 formed of resin in a strip form is provided having a lock portion 9a at one end. An engaging portion 10 is formed integral with a side surface of the connector portion 2, which is engaged with the inserted strip band 9. The cover 8 has a guide portion 11 triangular in section provided at a location adjacent to the engaging portion 10 so that the tip end of the strip band 9 inserted through the engaging portion 10 is guided along the guide surface 11 to an outside of the polarity board 1.

Clamp structure for cord

A lever switch for a vehicle including a boot having a good appearance. A manipulation lever 1 passes through a lever insertion hole 10a formed in a column cover 10 and is mounted pivotably in a switch case 5 by insertion. The boot 9 blocks a space between the switch case 5 and the lever insertion hole 10a, and a filling-up member 20 is engaged with a cut-off portion 9d of an opening portion 9c thereof, which is opened approximately in a trumpet shape. Engaging grooves 9f, with which guide rails 20a of the filling-up member 20 are engaged, are formed in inner surface portions opposite to each other of the cut-off portion 9d in the boot 9. Engaging grooves 2f are formed in the boot 9 in the inner surface portions opposite to each other of the cut-off portion, with which nails 20c or elastic nails 20d are engaged. In the filling-up member 20 there is formed a holding groove 20b, which holds a cord 21 wired on the manipulation lever 1 and hung therefrom together with a side wall 5h of the switch case 5 by putting the cord 21 between the holding groove 20b and the side wall 5h.

A combination switch (1) includes a wiper switch (11) and a lighting switch (12) that are fitted to a main body (10). A connection member (26) is accommodated in an accommodation space (23) defined by the main body (10) of the combination switch (1) and a rotor housing (24), and electrically connects a circuit on the chassis to a circuit on a steering wheel. The rotor housing (24) is engaged with the steering wheel by pins (241, 242) and is rotatably held by a rotor attachment (25) to the main body (10) of the combination switch (1). The result is a small combination switch apparatus combined with a rotary connector, which requires fewer parts and can be assembled by a small number of steps at a car production site.
