A method for recovering a valuable material from a lithium ion secondary battery includes: a heat treatment step of performing heat treatment on a lithium ion secondary battery; a crushing step of crushing a heat-treated object obtained through the heat treatment step; a first stage of classification step of classifying a crushed object obtained through the crushing step based on a classification point of 1.2 to 2.4 mm, and a second stage of classification step of classifying an intermediate product and a fine particle product obtained on a fine side in the first stage of classification step based on a classification point of 0.3 mm or less; and a dry magnetic separation step of repeating one time or more a step of performing dry magnetic separation on an intermediate product obtained on a coarse side in the second stage of classification step and performing dry magnetic separation again.

Method for recovering valuable material from lithium ion secondary battery

There is provided a means capable of recovering a valuable material such as cobalt and nickel, with a low grade of a metal derived from a negative electrode current collector, a low grade of fluorine, and a low grade of a material derived from a negative electrode active material. A method for recovering a valuable material from a lithium ion secondary battery, is characterized in that it includes: a heat treatment step of performing heat treatment on a lithium ion secondary battery; a crushing step of crushing a heat-treated object obtained through the heat treatment step; a classification step of classifying a crushed object obtained through the crushing step into a coarse particle product and a fine particle product; and a wet magnetic separation step of performing wet magnetic separation on the fine particle product obtained through the classification step.

An exposure device includes a light emitting element; and an eccentric cam for adjusting a distance between the light emitting element and a light receiving member. The eccentric cam includes a shaft portion and a cam portion arranged eccentrically relative to the shaft portion. The cam portion includes a circumferential surface having a convex surface in an axial direction of the eccentric cam and a circular arc in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction.

This invention relates to a non-slip structure, which is highly efficient in preventing a slip with no trouble caused by a through hole, thereby enhancing reliability. The non-slip structure of this invention is characterized in that a portion of a metal plate such as a steel plate and the like is sheared so as to form cutting lines (a pair of lateral side cutting lines and a joining cutting line) for forming a protruded piece and, at the same time, the protruded piece is pulled up along the cutting lines to a height, which does not exceed the thickness portion of the steel plate so as to raise the shearing surface (edge), so that the sheared surface does not form a gap nor any through hole in contacting the steel plate.

The present invention provides a counterweight and a counterweight-recycling method capable of having excellent workability, capable of reducing manufacturing costs, and capable of achieving environmental conservation. A metal portion contained in slag produced in an iron making process or in residue in a waste treatment furnace is used as a weight material of a counterweight (). A method of recycling the counterweight () includes a removing step of removing an outer shell () of a used counterweight () that has used a magnetic metal portion as a weight material, a crushing/cutting step of crushing a filler containing the metal portion of the counterweight () from which the outer shell () has been removed and cutting a combined state between the metal portion and the other filler portion, and a separating step of separating processed products obtained in the crushing/cutting step into high-specific-gravity substances composed chiefly of the metal portion and into other low-specific-gravity substances, in which the high-specific-gravity substances are used as weight materials of a counterweight to be newly manufactured.

Counterweight and method for recycling the same

The invention provides a slip stopper which achieves a great slip stopping effect, and can be used for a location where a problem occurs if a through hole is opened therein. In a protruding portion that protrudes from the upper surface of a steel plate in the plate thickness direction, a concave portion and drain channels, that lead to the steel plate upper surface from the concave portion, are formed. The inner surface of the concave portion and the groove side surfaces of drain channels are formed by shear planes which extend substantially perpendicular to the steel plate upper surface, and are obtained by half blanking that does not open a through hole in the steel plate.

Non-slip material

An easy manufacturing method of a slip stopper, and apparatus therefor, that has a great slip stopping effect and can be used for a location where a problem occurs if a though hole is opened therein. After a protruding portion is formed on a steel plate, by using a first punching die unit, so as to protrude from the upper surface in a plate thickness direction, a concave portion and drain channels are formed in the protruding portion by shear planes that extend substantially perpendicular to the steel plate upper surface and have been half-blanked so as not to open a through hole in the steel plate by using a second punching die unit.

An image-writing device writes a dot image onto an image-receiving body in such a way that the dots align at a certain screen angle. The dots are written by an array of writing elements such as light-emitting diodes. The image-writing device has a memory that stores compensation parameters that compensate for non-uniformity of the writing elements. The compensation parameters are also calculated to produce dots with approximately uniform widths as viewed in the screen-angle direction. When driven according to the compensation parameters, the writing elements produce a dot image that is comparatively free of dot-width irregularities aligned in the screen-angle direction, which is the direction in which such irregularities are most noticeable.

A positioning apparatus for an optical head includes a cylindrical photoconductive drum, an optical head, and at least one spacer. The cylindrical photoconductive drum extends in a direction of a longitudinal axis thereof. The optical head extends parallel to the longitudinal axis. The spacer is disposed to abut the photoconductive drum, limiting a distance between the optical head and the photoconductive drum. The photoconductive drum has a photoconductor and the spacer is in contact with the photoconductor through sliding friction. The spacer has a first surface in contact with the photoconductor. The photoconductor has a second surface in contact with the first surface. The first surface has a first curvature and the second surface has a second curvature. When the first surface is pressed against the second surface, the spacer may deform resiliently so that the first curvature becomes substantially equal to the second curvature.

An LED array head includes a circuit board and a plurality of LED array chips mounted thereon. Each of the plurality of LED array chips has a plurality of light-emitting elements aligned and exposed on a surface thereof. The plurality of LED array chips are aligned on the circuit board in a direction in which the plurality of light-emitting elements are aligned, so that the plurality of light-emitting elements lie on a single straight line. The LED array chips are bonded to the circuit board by an epoxy resin type soft adhesive.

A print head has an array of surface-emitting light-emitting diodes formed in a chip, near one edge of the chip. The chip is mounted on a conductive pattern on the component surface of a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a material, exposed on the component surface throughout a region adjacent to the above-mentioned edge of the chip, that is less optically reflective than the conductive pattern. Emitted light that leaks through the chip edge is partly or completely absorbed by the exposed material, instead of being reflected by the conductive pattern. The exposed material may be a dielectric coating, a dielectric substrate, or a conductive paste that also bonds the chip to the conductive pattern.

An electrophotography apparatus has a charging unit, and an exposing unit, and a developing unit. The charging unit charges the surface of a rotating image bearing body having an axis of rotation. The exposing unit emits light to illuminate the surface of the image bearing body to form an electrostatic latent image on the surface. The developing unit applies charged toner to the electrostatic latent image to develop the electrostatic latent image into a visible image. The electrophotography apparatus includes, for example two electrodes and power supplies for applying voltages to the electrodes. The electrodes are disposed between the light-emitting surface of the exposing unit and extend parallel to the axis of rotation of the image bearing body. The electrodes are aligned on opposite sides of the light emitted from the exposing unit. The electrodes receive voltages from the power supplies, creating electric lines of force at an angle with a direction of the light so that the charged toner particles remaining on the image bearing body fly in a direction deviating from the direction of the light. The electrodes may be disposed in a plane perpendicular to the direction of light and receive voltages of different values from each other and of the same polarity as the charged powdered particles. The electrodes may be disposed in different planes perpendicular to the direction of light, one of the electrodes being closer to the image bearing body than the other.

Electrophotography apparatus and exposing unit therefor

A circuit board holds a line of light emitting elements mounted thereon. The light emitting elements are at a predetermined height from the surface of the circuit board. A rod lens array longitudinally extends and forms images of the light emitting elements on a photoconductive body such that the images and the light emitting elements form pairs of conjugate points with respect to the rod lens array. A holder holds the rod lens array relative to the light emitting elements. Supporting members are mounted to the holder at locations along a length of the rod lens array and hold the rod lens array relative to the circuit board so that the images form a substantially straight line on the photoconductive body. Each of supporting member supports a part of the rod lens array relative to the circuit board. The supporting member has a first reference portion and a second reference portion, the first reference portion abutting a lower surface of the rod lens array and the second reference portion abutting the surface of the circuit board on which the light emitting elements are carried. The supporting member of different heights may be assembled to the holder along the length of the rod lens array so that any warp and/or distortion of the base is accommodated, thereby allowing images of light emitting elements are on a very straight line.

Optical printhead

An LED head for illuminating a surface of a photoconductive body includes an LED circuit board, lens assembly (SLA), SLA holder, base, and engagement member. The LED circuit board has LED arrays mounted thereon. The lens assembly has an optical axis and focuses light emitted from the LED arrays on the surface of the photoconductive body. The SLA holder has two opposing walls to hold the lens assembly therebetween. One of the opposing walls has a first reference surface with which the optical axis of the lens assembly is in a predetermined positional relation and urges the lens assembly against the other of the opposing walls. The base houses the LED circuit board and the SLA holder therein. The base has a second reference surface such that the optical axis is placed in position with respect to the LED arrays when the second reference surface is in intimate contact with the first reference surface. An engagement member holds the holder and the base together so that the first and second reference surfaces are in intimate contact with each other.
