A transmission is provided with an engagement member rotationally moved between an engagement position where the engagement member is engaged with a parking gear to restrict the rotation of a drive shaft, and an engagement release position where the engagement member is disengaged from the parking gear to permit the rotation of the drive shaft; a support member provided in a case to be distanced from a rotational axis of the engagement member; and a pair of urging members urging the engagement member in a direction in which the engagement member rotationally moves from the engagement position toward the engagement release position, and supported on the support member respectively at symmetrical positions that are on both sides of the engagement member in a rotational axis direction of the engagement member.

Transmission

In a transmission, a lubrication oil retention section is formed to surround an area around a circumferential part of a first gear that ranges from a lubrication oil storage region to the outside of the lubrication oil storage region. In the lubrication oil retention section, the lubrication oil scooped up by the rotation of the first gear is retained between the lubrication oil retention section and the first gear at the outside of the lubrication oil storage region. The lubrication oil retention section enables the first gear to splash the lubrication oil retained at the outside of the lubrication oil storage region, toward a receiver that flows the lubrication oil to various sliding parts of the transmission.

In an automatic dual-clutch transmission, a lowest speed driven gear, other driven gears and a reverse gear are provided on a first output shaft to be freely rotatable. A 2nd speed driven gear and a highest speed driven gear are provided on a second output shaft to be freely rotatable. Further, the 2nd speed driven gear is provided with a large-diameter gear meshing with a 2nd speed drive gear and a small-diameter gear provided bodily with the large-diameter gear, being fewer in tooth number and smaller in diameter than the large-diameter gear, and meshing with the reverse gear. Thus, the automatic dual-clutch transmission is reduced in diameter by not having an output shaft dedicated to the reverse gear and is able to set the gear ratio for reverse to be large.

Automatic dual-clutch transmission

A shifting device for a dual clutch transmission, the dual clutch transmission including a first input shaft, a second input shaft, a counter shaft, a dual clutch, a first gear change mechanism including at least a first gear train and a first switching clutch, and a second gear change mechanism including at least a second gear train and a second switching clutch, the shifting device including a shift mechanism constituted by a first shifter that includes a first follower pin and a first shift fork, a second shifter that includes a second follower pin and a second shift fork, and a cam member at which a single cam groove is formed, and the first and second follower pins engaging with different positions on the cam groove from each other and operating the first and second switching clutches to be associated with each other.
