Upon fixing fine particulate active element members, which are carbon nanotube, rod-shaped semiconductor crystal, or the like, in an electronic device at predetermined positions thereof respectively, a method for producing an electronic device includes: dispersing the fine particulate active element members in a dielectric liquid and filling the liquid in a space between a process-objective substrate and a mask which is placed opposite to the substrate and which has predetermined pattern electrodes formed therein; and applying a predetermined voltage to the predetermined electrodes to concentrate the fine particulate active element members at positions which correspond to positions of the pattern electrodes, respectively. In this state, a light is irradiated to the substrate and the fine particulate active element members in the liquid so as to fix the fine particulate active element members to the substrate by a photochemical reaction. Thus, a high-performance electronic device using carbon nanotubes or rod-shaped semiconductor crystal can be manufactured at low cost.

A probe has a vibration excitor including a core member made of a giant magnetostrictive material and magnetic field generation means for generating an alternating magnetic field having a randomly varying frequency to thereby expand and compress the core member to generate random vibration therein, and an impedance head for detecting an acceleration of the random vibration and a vibration stress created in organism tissue vibrated by the vibration excitor and generating electrical signals proportional thereto. An oscillation degree measuring apparatus measures the fixing state of an object to be measured as a numerical value of the degree of oscillation and comprises an ultrasonic exciter for generating ultrasonic waves which shock the object and exciting oscillations, an oscillation detector for detecting the oscillations of the object and converting the oscillations into electrical signals, a band amplifier for extracting a signal element of a predetermined frequency band including a resonant frequency of the object from the detected signals from the oscillation detector, a smoothing circuit for smoothing the signals amplified by the band amplifier, an A/D converter for converting the signals smoothed by the smoothing circuit into digital signals, a control device for operating the A/D converter a plurality of times every time a predetermined time passes, and a data processor for finding an average value of a plurality of digital data obtained by the A/D converter and calculating the degree of oscillation based on the average value.
