A plurality of operation members, each having an operation end and a switch-operating actuation end, are placed on a plane in a dispersed manner so as to freely rock independently, and the operation ends of the operation members are placed so as to face operation plungers at a plurality portions, and in this arrangement, the actuation ends of the respective operation members are connected to a switch main bodythrough a common reset spring plate so that when any one of the operation members is rocked and shifted, the switch main body is actuated.

Push-button switch

In a push-button switch in which a switch mechanism switched over on the basis of push-button depression is supported between a pair of split-type switch bases so as to be switchably operated, a falling-off prevention engage portion is formed at an end of a lever pivotal axle of a inclination lever provided for the switch mechanism, so as to be engageable with a pivotal hole formed in an opposing side wall of the switch base for prevention of falling-off of the inclination lever from the switch base.

Illuminated display push-button switch

A novel electro-mechanical switch device is disclosed which is suitable for use in a factory production line to detect and control the flow of workpieces or articles of manufacture along the line. The switch device includes a pair of switches (101, 102) operative in response to the workpieces passing thereby along the production line, a switch circuit (13) electrically connected to the switches (101, 102), and a moisture detector (15). The pair of switches are so designed that the operation of one switch is delayed with respect to the other. The switch circuit (13) functions in response to the operation of the switches and the moisture detector (15) to provide a warning signal when one of the switches fails to operate within a predetermined delay time with respect to the other switch, as well as when the moisture detector senses a presence of moisture.

Switch device with a trouble detecting and indicating function

A pressure receiving member which has a diaphragm held in a pressure receiving case is manufactured independently of a main sensor body member, which has a switch accommodated in a switch case. The pressure receiving member and the main sensor body member are then assembled to provide a pressure sensor. According to the present invention, since the pressure receiving portion and the main sensor body are manufactured individually, a diaphragm movement test can be carried out individually of the testing of switch turning on and off, and hence only a satisfactory pressure receiving portion and a main sensor body which passed the respective tests will be utilized in the operation of assembling pressure sensors.

Method of manufacturing fluid pressure sensor

There are provided a first switch which is switched to the on state or the off state in association with a displacement of an actuator which causes a displacement by a contact with an object and a second switch which is switched to the on state or off state later than the first switch in association with the displacement of the actuator. A switch output is produced and an abnormality is detected in accordance with the on and off states of these switches.

Switching apparatus

This electronic component of the rotary switch type may include: a casing; a disk shaped rotor, rotatably supported in the casing, and formed with a cam pattern system; a contact system which is actuated by the cam pattern system as the rotor is rotated; and a sheet spring. The sheet spring has: two pressure portions; a substantially flat portion, intermediate between the two pressure portions, which is stressed so as to press the two pressure portions against the cam pattern system as the rotor is rotated, for providing detent action for the rotor; and a fixing portion, fixed to the casing, and proximate and connected to the substantially flat portion. There may be two each of the substantially flat portion and the fixing portion. As a specialization, this sheet spring may be generally ring shaped with a generally circular interior outline and a generally square exterior outline, and its two pressure portions may be two of its diagonally opposed corner portions which are creased so as to define projections opposing the cam pattern system, while its two substantially flat portions may be the other two of its diagonally opposed corner portions which are creased so as to press its two pressure portions against the cam pattern system. Also, this electronic component may include a resin casing with a terminal passing through it and a hole formed through it from its surface to the terminal, with some thermosetting bonding agent filled into the hole and sealing the terminal to the casing.

Electronic component having improved rotary switch detent spring

A pressure receiving member which has a diaphragm held in a pressure receiving case is manufactured independently of a main sensor body member, which has a switch accommodated in a switch case. The pressure receiving member and the main sensor body member are then assembled to provide a pressure sensor. According to the present invention, since the pressure receiving portion and the main sensor body are manufactured individually, a diaphragm inversion movement test can be carried out individually of the testing of switch turning on and off, and hence only satisfactory pressure receiving portion and main sensor body which passed the respective tests will be utilized in the operation of assembling pressure sensors.

Plunger type fluid pressure switch

This slide switch includes: a casing formed in a hollow box shape with an open top; several fixed contacts on the bottom surface of the casing and several terminals connected to them extending to the outside of the casing; a cover mounted to close the open top of the casing, formed with a hole opposed to the fixed contacts; and a slide member disposed inside the casing, which has a control portion protruding out through the hole in the cover and a movable contact portion made of a resilient electrically conducting material which bears against the internal bottom surface of the casing and thereby produces a biasing force on the slide member to impel it in the direction towards the cover. The movable contact portion of the slide member, according as the control portion of the slide member is moved from outside the casing, selectively connects together a combination of the fixed contacts. The movable contact is mounted to the slider so that movement of the contact within a plane parallel to the bottom surface of the casing is solely restricted to the sliding direction of the slider.

Slide switch having improved holding structure for the movable contact

A slide switch has a switch operating member at its upper surface which is slid back and forth for operating the slide switch. An adapter is provided for operating this slide switch from the side, and has a main body which has a base and clamp members extending from opposite sides of the base to define a space between them, the clamp members being adapted to grip the slide switch between them so as to secure the adapter on the top of the slide switch with the slide switch being held at least partly in the space between the clamp members. The adapter has an actuator pivotally fixed to the main body, and this actuator has a lever portion which protrudes out from the main body to the side and an actuation portion which, with the slide switch held between the clamp members, engages with the switch operating member of the slide switch, so as to slide it as the actuator is pivoted with respect to the main body. As a result, the slide switch, which ordinarily is for operation from its top, can be converted to be operated from its side.

Slide switch sideways operation adapter

This slide switch includes: a casing formed in a hollow box shape with an open top; several fixed contacts on the bottom surface of the casing and several terminals connected to them extending to the outside of the casing; a cover mounted to close the open top of the casing, formed with a hole opposed to the fixed contacts; a slide member disposed inside the casing, which has a control portion protruding out through the hole in the cover and a movable contact portion made of a resilient electrically conducting material which bears against the internal bottom surface of the casing and thereby produces a biasing force on the slide member to impel it in the direction towards the cover; and a seal member interposed between the inside of the cover and the side of the slide member facing it, the seal member being squeezed between the slide member and the cover, a seal between the inside of the casing and the outside thereby being produced. The movable contact portion of the slide member, according as the control portion of the slide member is moved from outside the casing, selectively connects together a combination of the fixed contacts. By this seal member being provided, a good sealing performance for the switch is available, and therefore, when the switch is soldered to a printed circuit board and a cleansing fluid is thereafter used for cleansing off solder residue, no contamination is introduced into the slide switch.

Sealed slide switch

A high precision and compact contact switch which comprises a housing, a pair of fixed contact elements fixedly supported within the housing, a plunger axially slidably extending into the housing, a generally cylindrical movable contact member, a support piece for the support of the fixed contact elements and a biasing spring. The generally cylindrical movable contact member is tiltably carried by the plunger so as to extend transversely in relation to the plunger. The support piece is preferably made out of synthetic resin. The biasing spring is used for urging the opposite end portions of the movable contact member in order to contact the respective fixed contact elements.

High precision and compact contact switch

A limit switch assembly which comprises a head having an actuator, a switch having a push button protruding outwards from a first area thereof and movable between projected and depressed positions, and also having at least two terminal members protruding outwards from a second area thereof for the electrical connection with external wiring elements, a rubber hood configured to substantially tightly receive the switch therein except for the second area of the switch, and having a circumferential flange formed integrally therewith so as to extend outwards therefrom in a plane generally parallel to the first area of the switch, and a switch box having an opening defined therein at a location confronting the head, and accommodating therein the switch together with the rubber hood. The circumferential flange is, when the switch is so accommodated in the switch box, positioned exteriorly of the switch box and surrounding the opening in the switch box. The head and the switch box are connected together by means of fastening members with the actuator aligned with the push button and, at that time, the circumferential flange area, tightly clamped therebetween.

Limit switch assembly

An illuminated pushbutton switch including an elongated housing, a switching component accommodated within the housing, an actuating component coaxially housed in the housing for actuating the switching component in response to an external force, and an illuminating component for lightning an upper portion of the actuating component, said illuminating component comprising a lead frame, a pair of light emitting devices arranged on the lead frame, and an optically transparent member including a pair of transparent blocks corresponding to and embedding the light emitting devices, each of said blocks including a lens portion having an upper flat square surface and a nearly reverse conical side wall portion in which the light emitted from the corresponding one of the light emitting devices is defracted to radiate uniform light beams from the upper flat square surface, the upper flat square surface of the blocks constituting a continuous flat surface.

Illuminated pushbutton switch

An illuminated pushbutton switch comprising a housing, a switching component, a reset spring, and an illuminator component including a lamp holder and a pushbutton which is removably installed in the housing. Characteristically, this switch further comprises a leaf spring which is secured at its base end to the lamp holder and disposed to provide a predetermined spacing between the lamp holder and pushbutton, and engaging means formed in the pushbutton for engaging a free end of the leaf spring, and a stationary member for transversely biasing the leaf spring out of engagement from said engaging means as the reset spring returns to its original position.
