A light source device including: a support member includes a groove in which a light guide member is disposed, a light source substrate and the support member are in contact with each other with a convex portion, and the convex portion is disposed on at least one of an opposed surface opposed to a first surface of the light source substrate and the first surface of the light source substrate to separate a light emitting element from the support member and a light guide member.

A light source device of the present disclosure includes a light source unit including a first coupling part which is disposed in the gap and electrically couples the first and second light emitting element groups, and a first regulatory member which is disposed between a light guide member and a base substrate, and regulates a position of a light guide member with respect to a support member. The first light emitting element group has a configuration in which a plurality of first light emitting elements is coupled in series so that a current flows along a first direction, and the second light emitting element group has a configuration in which a plurality of second light emitting elements is coupled in series so that a current flows along a second direction opposite to the first direction. The first regulatory member is disposed to overlap the first coupling part.

A cooling device is provided with an evaporator, a condenser, a vapor pipe, and a liquid pipe. The evaporator includes a housing having a reservoir configured to retain a working fluid in a liquid phase flowing inside, a wick disposed in the housing, and transporting the working fluid in the liquid phase, and a groove member having a plurality of flow channels through which the working fluid changed in phase from the liquid phase to the gas phase flows, the groove member being coupled to the wick. The wick has a plurality of through holes which penetrate the wick along a first direction from the reservoir toward the groove member, the through holes being configured to transport the working fluid in the liquid phase retained in the reservoir in the first direction.

Cooling device and projector

A cooling device includes an evaporator configured to evaporate working fluid in a liquid phase due to a heat transferred from a cooling target, a condenser configured to condense the working fluid in the vapor phase, a vapor pipe through which the working fluid changed to the vapor phase in the evaporator flow into the condenser, and a liquid pipe through which the working fluid changed to the liquid phase in the condenser flow into the evaporator. The condenser has a phase change flow channel into which the working fluid in the vapor phase inflows via the vapor pipe, and through which the working fluid changed in phase from the vapor phase to the liquid phase flow out to the liquid pipe. The phase change flow channel has a reduced diameter part having a flow channel cross-sectional area decreasing in a direction from upstream toward downstream of the working fluid.

A cooling device includes an evaporator, a condenser, a vapor pipe, and a liquid pipe. The evaporator includes a housing having a reservoir, a wick disposed in the housing and retaining the working fluid in the liquid phase, and a groove member having a plurality of flow channels through which the working fluid in the vapor phase flows. The wick has first, second and third layers. The first layer has a plurality of first apertures, and is higher in thermal conductivity than both the second and third layers. The third layer transports the working fluid in the liquid phase in the reservoir to the second layer. The second layer has a plurality of second apertures corresponding to the first apertures, the second apertures having aperture area larger than corresponding one of the first apertures. The second layer transports the working fluid in the liquid phase to the first layer.

A heat transport device having a hydraulic fluid includes: an evaporating unit configured to receive heat from outside and gasify the hydraulic fluid into a gas; a condensing unit configured to liquefy the gas into the hydraulic fluid; and first and second fluid pipes respectively connected to the evaporating unit. The first and second fluid pipes forming an annular flow path with the evaporating unit and the condensing unit. The evaporating unit includes a first porous body which is permeated with the hydraulic fluid by capillary force, and a heat receiving unit configured to receive heat from outside. The heat receiving unit has an accommodation area where the first porous body moves in a first direction. The first fluid pipe is connected to one end side in the first direction of the accommodation area. The second fluid pipe is connected to the other end side of the accommodation area.

A light source device includes a discharge lamp including a pair of electrodes arranged to be opposed to each other in a hollow section in which a discharge medium is encapsulated and a driving device. The driving device includes a supplying unit configured to supply an alternating current having a frequency higher than 1 kHz to the pair of electrodes in a high-frequency period and a control unit configured to set at least a first frequency higher than 1 kHz and a second frequency higher than 1 kHz and different from the first frequency as the frequency of the alternating current, switch an alternating current having the first frequency and an alternating current having the second frequency in the high-frequency period, and control the supplying unit to repeat the high-frequency period to supply an alternating current to the pair of electrodes.

The device controls the driving of a belt-conveyer so that a heater moves in a carrying direction at a carry time movement velocity that is slower than the carry velocity of a TAB tape if the TAB tape is in a carried state. On the other hand, the heater moves in an opposite carrying direction at a carry standby time movement velocity derived from the difference between the carry velocity and the carry time movement velocity if the TAB tape is in a carry standby state.

A wiring board has a substrate and an interconnect pattern formed on the substrate. The interconnect pattern includes a plurality of lands. Each of the lands includes a base section and an additional section extending from the base section, the base section of each of the lands having the same shape. When a spiral curve is rotated around an origin and disposed to pass over the base section, the additional section is formed to extend from the base section of any one of the lands in a direction along the spiral curve.
