A process for producing a fluorine-containing acrylic acid ester represented by CH&#x2550;C(Rf)(COOR) characterized in that 1-bromo-1-perfluoroalkylethene represented by CH&#x2550;CBr&#x2014;Rf, or 1,2-dibromo-1-perfluoroalkylethane represented by CHCBr&#x2014;CHBr&#x2014;Rf is allowed to react with an alcohol represented by ROH in the presence of a palladium catalyst, carbon monoxide, and two or more kinds of bases. The fluorine-containing acrylic acid ester is a useful compound having wide applications in materials for pharmaceuticals and functional polymers.

Method for producing fluorine-containing acrylate

A method for producing an aromatic primary amine, characterized by hydrogenating an aromatic nitrile at a low partial pressure of hydrogen in a heterogeneous system comprising a non-reductive polar solvent and a nickel-immobilized catalyst suspended therein was proposed. By such method, an aromatic primary amine which is industrially useful as a medicine, agricultural chemical, dye surfactant, chemical agent, etc. can be produced in a high yield.

Process for producing aromatic primary amine by low-pressure

A lactone is prepared by catalytically hydrogenating a dicarboxylic acid having 3 to 10 carbon atoms or a functional derivative thereof in the presence of a catalyst comprising a metal selected from the elements of group VIII of the periodic table or a combination of said metal with an element selected from the elements of groups IVa, VIb and VIIb of the peridic table, and further in the co-presence of an alkali metal salt or an alkali metal hydroxide.
