A multi-end revolving type automatic winding machine exhibiting high operationality, threading operability and space efficiency, and arranged such that two turret tables (') are disposed on the opposite sides of a yarn passage, rotational directions of a press roller () provided for one turret table () and a press roller (&#x2032;) provided for the other turret table (&#x2032;) are reversed, rotational directions of one turret table () and the other turret table (&#x2032;) are reversed, and the center of each press roller (&#x2032;) touching a bobbin holder or a yarn being wound during winding of yarn is located between an imaginary line c connecting the centers of two bobbin holders () projecting from one turret table (&#x2032;) and an imaginary line c&#x2032; connecting the centers of two bobbin holders (&#x2032;) projecting from the other turret table (&#x2032;).

Revolving type yarn winding machine

A bobbin holder mounted on a yarn winding machine includes a plurality of chucking members disposed at an outer periphery of the holder. The chucking members are expanded radially outwardly so as to engage an inner side of a cylindrical bobbin coaxially inserted onto the holder when they are longitudinally compressed. The chucking members release the bobbin when they are moved radially inwardly. The portions on the holder for receiving the chucking members are formed as concaves, with a part of each chucking member inserted into a respective concave.
