The present disclosure improves impact resistance of an electric outboard machine. The electric outboard machine includes an outboard machine body and an attachment. The attachment attaches the outboard machine body to a rear part of a boat. The outboard machine body includes a propeller, an electric motor that drives the propeller, and a controller that controls the motor. The controller is located between the motor and the attachment. If another boat collides with the boat from behind, the controller arranged between the motor and the attachment is easily protected from the impact upon rear-end collision. This can improve impact resistance of the electric outboard machine.

Electric outboard machine

An outboard motorincludes a first drive shaft, a second drive shaft, and a decelerator. The first drive shaftoutputs a torque from a drive motor. The second drive shaftis disposed parallel to the first drive shaftand transmits the torque to a propeller shaftto which a propelleris connected. The deceleratoris disposed between the first drive shaftand the second drive shaftand transmits the torque from the first drive shaftto the second drive shaft. Outboard motor

An outboard motorincludes a drive shaft, a propeller shaft, a worm wheel, and a worm. The drive shaft is connected to a drive motorvia a reduction unit. The propeller shaft is connected via a bevel gear unit to intersect the drive shaft. The worm wheel is disposed coaxially with the drive shaft and rotates to turn the propeller shaft around the drive shaft. The worm engages with the worm wheel and is connected to a steering motor. The worm has a torque receiving portion.

The outboard motor includes a drive shaftthat extends in a vertical direction, a propeller shaft that is connected to the drive shaftto intersect the drive shaft, an upper casethat accommodates the drive source, a lower casethat accommodates the propeller shaft, and a height adjusting unitthat adjusts a height position between the upper caseand the lower case. The height adjusting unitincludes a first memberthat is disposed coaxially with an axis C of the drive shaft, a second memberthat is fixed to the lower caseand is screwed to the first screw portion, a rotation devicethat rotates the first member, and a regulating portionthat restricts relative rotation between the first memberand the second member

A driving device includes: an internal combustion engine; a first rotating electric machine; a second rotating electric machine; and a transmission. The transmission includes: a first rotating electric machine shaft; a second rotating electric machine shaft which is arranged in parallel to the first rotating electric machine shaft; a first gear provided in the first rotating electric machine shaft; and a second gear provided in the second rotating electric machine shaft. A width in an axial direction of the first rotating electric machine is larger than that of the second rotating electric machine. The number of gears provided in a shaft in which a gear for the first rotating electric machine that meshes with the first gear is arranged is smaller than the number of gears provided in a shaft in which a gear for the second rotating electric machine that meshes with the second gear is arranged.

Driving device

A protection plate is at least partly provided on a first side surface of a storage case, and includes a first load input area provided outside a first coil end portion in a radial direction and at a position overlapping with a stator core when viewed from the axial direction, and a second load input area provided at a position overlapping with at least one of a bearing and a rotor shaft when viewed from the axial direction. When a load is input to a rotary electric machine unit from the one end side in the axial direction, the load is transmitted to the storage case from the first load input area and the second load input area of the protection plate.

Rotary electric machine unit

A vehicle drive device includes: a first rotary electric machine; a second rotary electric machine that is arranged below the first rotary electric machine; and a case having a rotary electric machine housing portion that houses the first rotary electric machine and the second rotary electric machine. The first rotary electric machine and the second rotary electric machine are cooled by a refrigerant flowing inside the case, and in the rotary electric machine housing portion, a guide portion that prevents the refrigerant, which has cooled the first rotary electric machine, from being applied to the second rotary electric machine is provided.

Vehicle drive device

Provided a transmission including a first shaft, a second shaft connected thereto via a shift gear mechanism provided to a first shaft and generating a rotary output corresponding to a selected shift gear, a planetary gear mechanism, a transmission case for housing the planetary gear mechanism and a mounting member for fixing a ring gear of the planetary gear mechanism to the case. To the mounting member, an abutment support portion is formed for supporting the case by abutting to an inter-shaft portion positioned between the first shaft and the second shaft in the case.

Transmission

A planetary gear mechanism has a sun gear disposed to a rotating shaft, a plurality of pinion gears, a carrier supporting the plurality of the pinion gears, a ring gear meshing with the pinion gear on the outer diameter side of the carrier and a case holding the ring gear on the outer diameter side thereof. The ring gear is slidable in the axial direction of the rotating shaft with respect to the case. The planetary gear mechanism has a load transmission member abutting to an inner diameter side end portion of the ring gear and holding the carrier and the ring gear so as to be relatively rotatable. The load transmission member transmits an axial load from the ring gear to the carrier.

Planetary gear mechanism and transmission

A rotating electrical machine includes an annular stator, a plurality of coils, a case, a side cover, a refrigerant passage, supply ports, and a strainer. The annular stator has an axis. The plurality of coils are provided about the axis. The case houses the stator. The side cover is disposed at one axial end of the case so as to face the stator in an axial direction along the axis. The refrigerant passage is provided in the side cover along a circumferential direction. The supply ports supply refrigerant from the refrigerant passage toward axial ends of the plurality of coils. The strainer is provided inside the refrigerant passage to be erected so as to intersect with the axis. The strainer has a plate-shaped member including holes to trap foreign matter in the refrigerant while the refrigerant passes through the holes.

Rotating electrical machine

A side coverwhich covers a side surface portion of an electric motoris formed of a resin, and a lubricant is ejected from plural ejecting holesof an oil pathformed in the side coverto a statorof the electric motorso as to cool the stator.

Electric vehicle driving system

The toroidal continuously variable transmission comprises a drive shaft which is rotationally driven by an engine, an input shaft which is disposed adjacent to and coaxially with this drive shaft, input disk which rotate integrally with the input shaft, output disks which are disposed coaxially with the input disks so as to be capable of rotating relatively thereto and to face the input disks, trunnion assemblies which are clamped between the input disks and the output disks so that these trunnion assemblies are free to swing, a pushing cylinder which pushes the input disks and output disks in the respective directions that cause these disks to clamp the trunnion assemblies, and a coupling mechanism which connects the drive shaft and the input shaft by means of an Oldham coupling.
