Rotating machinery of the invention includes a 2n-pole rotor, 72n slots, and three-phase armature windings (n&#x2265;1). Each of the slots houses a top coil on an inner radius side of the slots and a bottom coil on an outer radius side thereof. Each of the armature windings is formed by connecting the top and bottom coils and has 2n phase belts per phase. Each of the phase belts includes a first parallel winding and a second parallel winding. The top and bottom coils are formed by arranging the first and second parallel windings in a predefined order when a circumferential mean position of all top coils and bottom coils in each of the phase belts is defined as a phase belt center and an arrangement of the first and second parallel windings in at least one phase belt is viewed in an order of proximity to the phase belt center.

Disclosed are equipment and method for diagnosing the sliding condition of a rotating electrical machine that make it possible to achieve early detection of abnormal sliding with a simple configuration containing flexibly arranged elements and reduce the downtime and maintenance cost of the rotating electrical machine. The equipment for diagnosing the sliding condition of a rotating electrical machine includes a light source that emits light onto the sliding surface of a collecting brush relative to the surface of a rotating body of the rotating electrical machine, a light-receiving section that receives the light reflected from the sliding surface, and a determination section that processes a signal from the light-receiving section. The determination section detects an increase in a specific wavelength component of the reflected light to determine whether the sliding condition of the rotating body surface of the rotating electrical machine is abnormal.

Equipment and method for diagnosing sliding condition of rotating electrical machine

A radiological imaging apparatus of the present invention comprises an image pickup device and a medical examinee holding device that is provided with a bed. The image pickup device includes a large number of radiation detectors and radiation detector support plates. A large number of radiation detectors are mounted around the circumference of a through-hole and arranged in the axial direction of the through-hole. The radiation detectors are arranged in three layers formed radially with respect to the center of the through-hole and mounted on the lateral surfaces of the radiation detector support plates. Since the radiation detectors are not only arranged in the axial direction and circumferential direction of the through-hole but also arrayed in the radial direction, it is possible to obtain accurate information about a &#x3b3;-ray arrival position in the radial direction of the through-hole (the positional information about a radiation detector from which a &#x3b3;-ray image pickup signal is output). The use of accurate information about &#x3b3;-ray arrival increases the tomogram accuracy. As a result, the present invention enhances the, tomogram accuracy, that is, the PET examination accuracy.

A radiological imaging apparatus of the present invention comprises an image pickup device and a medical examinee holding device that is provided with a bed. The image pickup device includes a large number of radiation detectors and radiation detector support plates. A large number of radiation detectors are mounted around the circumference of a through-hole and arranged in the axial direction of the through-hole. The radiation detectors are arranged in three layers formed radially with respect to the center of the through-hole and mounted on the lateral surfaces of the radiation detector support plates. A positron emission tomography apparatus installs a plurality of detector units in the circumference of a bed. The detector unit installs a plurality of combined substrates including detectors, analogue ASICs, and a digital ASIC and a voltage adjustment device inside a housing. A partition plate installed inside the housing separates the region inside the housing into a first region installed with the combined substrates and a second region installed with the voltage adjustment device. The partition plate blocks noise generated in the voltage adjustment device so as not to affect &#x3b3;-ray detection signals outputted from the detectors, thereby preventing the effect of the noise generated in the voltage adjustment device toward &#x3b3;-ray detection signals and shortening the examination time.

Radiological imaging apparatus and positron emission tomographic apparatus

The present invention provides a semiconductor radioactive ray detector having the excellent energy resolution or time precision, a radioactive detection module, and a nuclear medicine diagnosis apparatus. The semiconductor radioactive ray detector has a structure in which plate-like elements made of cadmium telluride and conductive members are alternately laminated and the plate-like element made of cadmium telluride and the conductive member are adhered to each other with a conductive adhesive agent, and the Young's modulus of the conductive adhesive agent is in the range from 350 MPa to 1000 MPa, while the conductive members are made from a material with the linear expansion coefficient of the conductive members in the range from 5&#xd7;10/&#xb0; C. to 7&#xd7;10/&#xb0; C.

Semiconductor radioactive ray detector, radioactive ray detection module, and nuclear medicine diagnosis apparatus

In a gamma camera, a plurality of radiation detector elements having a rod-shaped first electrode, a semiconductor device surrounds the first electrode to contact with it for entering a radiation, and a second electrode provided for the side surface of the semiconductor device are detachably attached to a holding member. The holding member has a first electrode contact portion contacted with the first electrode and a second electrode contact portion contacted with the second electrode. A collimator in which a plurality of radiation paths provided corresponding to the plurality of radiation detector elements are formed is arranged on the radiation entering side of the plurality of radiation detector elements. A &#x3b3;-ray detection signal outputted from the first electrode contact portion is sent to a signal processing integrated circuit. A high voltage is applied to the second electrode via the second electrode contact portion.

Radiation detector, radiation detector element, and radiation imaging apparatus

The radiological imaging system which can improve an energy resolution and perform a diagnosis with high accuracy includes a bed for carrying an examinee H, first and second imaging apparatuses and disposed along the longitudinal direction of the bed. The first imaging apparatus has a plurality of semiconductor radiation detectors for detecting &#x3b3;-rays emitted from the examinee H, arranged around the bed, the second imaging apparatus has an X-ray source for emitting X-rays to the examinee H and a radiation detector for detecting X-rays which have been emitted from the X-ray source and passed through the examinee H, and the bed is shared by the first imaging apparatus and the second imaging apparatus.

There are provided a radiation detection module, a printed circuit board, and a radiological imaging apparatus which make it possible to enhance spatial resolution without increasing channel number, and thereby to perform high-accuracy diagnosis. The radiation detection module includes a plurality of radiation detectors, and a wiring board on which the plurality of radiation detectors are mounted in a manner of being arranged in at least a radiation traveling direction. Here, on the wiring board, a pair of the radiation detectors which are adjacent to each other in the radiation traveling direction are electrically connected to each other, thereby configuring one detector structure (i.e., detection channel). Moreover, the radiation detectors are mounted onto the wiring board such that respective connection parts of electrodes, which are to be electrically connected to each other, are in a mutually-facing state.
