This turn cancel signal output device is provided with: a steering angle detection unit; a first cancel pulse generation unit which, based on the steering angle detected by the steering angle detection unit, generates a first cancel pulse when the steering angle becomes a steering angle to be detected as an edge indicating the completion of a turn of a vehicle; a second cancel pulse generation unit which, based on the steering angle detected by the steering angle detection unit, generates a second cancel pulse indicating the direction of rotation of steering: and signal output terminals.

A rotating connector includes a movable housing and a steering angle sensor unit. The movable housing includes a cylindrical section through which a steering shaft penetrates and a main gear integrally molded with the movable housing on an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical section along a rotation direction. The steering angle sensor unit includes a fixed-side housing into which the cylindrical section of the movable housing is inserted, a satellite gear which is provided in the fixed-side housing and meshed with the main gear, and a rotation angle detection unit which is provided in the fixed-side housing and detects rotation of the satellite gear.

In an optical connector, a sleeve is located between an optical fiber 6 and a light receiving/transmitting module 4 and makes an optical connection therebetween. The sleeve has a light guiding passage which is tapered from the optical fiber toward the light receiving/transmitting module, thereby forming a conical shape with its sloped side wall. Covering fixing structure to an end surface of a tubular body

The electrical connecting device has a cable compartment including spaced inner and outer annular portions. At least one of the top and bottom walls of each annular portion is formed with an annular groove. The portion of compartment other than the portions having annular grooves has a height H1 between the top and bottom walls. The height H1 is substantially equal to the width W of a flexible flat cable. The cable may be formed with projections on its edges. The compartment height H1 may be set between the width of the cable portion with the projections and the width of the cable portion without the projections. Therefore, the connector with high quality and high reliability can prevent an impinging noise from being made by vibration.
