A mold clamping device includes a first fixed member to which a stationary mold is to be attached; a first movable member to which a movable mold is to be attached; a second movable member configured to move together with the first movable member; a second fixed member provided between the first movable member and the second movable member; a mold clamping force generating mechanism configured to generate a mold clamping force due to an electromagnetic force between the second movable member and the second fixed member; and a mold clamping force amplifying mechanism configured to amplify the mold clamping force generated by the mold clamping force generating mechanism.

Mold clamping device

A drive apparatus for an injection molding machine comprises a drive means, a rotation transmission shaft, a screw shaft, a nut and a driven member. The rotation transmission shaft is connected to the drive means and rotated by the drive means. The screw shaft is rectilinearly movably disposed, surrounds the rotation transmission shaft, and engages with an outer cylindrical surface of the rotation transmission shaft on an inner cylindrical surface of the screw shaft. The nut is threadably engaged with the screw shaft. The driven member is disposed on the screw shaft. In this apparatus, the rotation generated by the drive means is transmitted to the screw shaft and the screw shaft is advanced and retracted not to rotate the nut. Therefore, the inertia of the drive apparatus becomes small and the response of mold opening/closing becomes rapid when the drive mean is driven.

Drive apparatus for injection molding machine

A product ejecting apparatus for an injection molding machine includes: a first drive unit; a first transmission unit connected to the first drive unit, wherein a rotation of the first drive unit results in a rotation of the first transmission unit; a second drive unit; a second transmission unit connected to the second drive unit, wherein a rotation of the second drive unit causes a rotation of the second transmission unit; an ejector pin configured to reciprocate based upon a motion of the first transmission unit; and a working member connected to the second transmission unit, wherein a movement of the second transmission unit results in reciprocating movement of the working member. The first drive unit is operated so as to cause the first transmission member to reciprocate, thereby causing the ejector pin to reciprocate. The second drive unit is operated so as to cause the second transmission member to reciprocate, thereby causing the working member to reciprocate.
