A seat reclining apparatus includes a stopper which is movable between a forward-tilt restriction position to stop the seatback at an intermediate stop position in an unlock range, which is set in front of a lockable range in which a reclining mechanism of the seat reclining apparatus allows the angle of the seatback to be adjusted, and a restriction release position to allow the seatback to tilt forward beyond the intermediate stop position, and is situated at the forward-tilt restriction position when the seatback tilts toward the intermediate stop position from the lockable range. The seat reclining apparatus further includes a holding mechanism which keeps holding the stopper in the restriction release position until the seatback returns to the lockable range from a state where the seatback tilts forward beyond the intermediate stop position following a movement of the stopper from the forward-tilt restriction position to the restriction release position.

A seat reclining apparatus includes: first and second reclining lock mechanisms that operate in a locked state and an unlocked state, where the locked state prevents a seat back from tilting and the unlocked state allows the tilting; a first rotation member that rotates toward an unlocking direction integrally with the shaft body to change the first reclining lock mechanism from the locked state to the unlocked state; and a second rotation member that is operated to rotate by an operation member toward the unlocking direction to change the second reclining lock mechanism from the locked state to the unlocked state via a cable. When the operation member is operated, the second rotation member rotates from the locking position toward the unlocking direction by a predetermined amount, subsequently transmits a rotation force to the first rotation member toward the unlocking direction via an interlocking portion.

A seat sliding device for a vehicle includes a lower rail; an upper rail, which is supported to be able to slide relative to the lower rail and is fixed to a seat; and a bracket, which includes an acting portion to transmit a predetermined external force acting on the upper rail to the lower rail and is fixed to the upper rail, wherein the acting portion is disposed to overlap with the lower rail in an up-down direction which is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the sliding device.

A seat slide device includes a lower rail, which is provided along a front-and-rear direction; an upper rail, which is movably engaged with the lower rail; a lock mechanism, which is configured to lock and unlock a movement of the upper rail; a walk-in mechanism, which makes a seat be movable into a walk-in area located by unlocking the lock mechanism; and a movable-range restriction unit which: allows the seat to move into the walk-in area when the seat is moved toward the walk-in area from a rear side in a state where the walk-in mechanism is operated; and prevents the seat from moving into the walk-in area when the seat is moved toward the walk-in area from the rear side in a state where the walk-in mechanism is not operated and the lock mechanism is unlocked.
