A rotary machine capable of carrying out efficient cooling without increasing costs or deteriorating performance is provided. A motorserving as the rotary machine has a rotorconfigured to be rotatable around a rotary shaft, a statorhaving a stator corearranged around the rotorand a coilattached to the stator coreso that a coil end partprotrudes from each end of the stator core, mold membersandformed at both ends of the stator core, to cover base parts of the coil end parts, and partition partsandattached in contact with the mold membersand, to separate a space Sin which the rotoris arranged from a space Sin which the coil end partsare arranged.

Rotary machine

This underwater device is twin-motor underwater floating-type power generation device that is provided with: a device main body that is equipped with a pair of pods that have a turbine, and with a connecting beam that connects these pods together in parallel with each other; a sinker; and tether cables that tether the device main body to the seabed via this sinker. The respective turbines of the pods are each provided with variable pitch turbine blades. This device is also provided with a depth meter that detects deviation in posture in the roll direction that is generated in the pair of pods, and a posture controller that controls the pitch of the variable pitch turbine blades of the respective turbines so as to nullify any deviation in posture in the roll direction that has been generated in the pair of pods and has been detected by the depth meter.

A double-stator switched reluctance motor includes an annular rotor, an outer stator disposed outside the rotor, and an inner stator disposed inside the rotor. Phases of the salient poles in a rotational direction of the rotor are different from each other in at least one of a set of first stator salient poles and second stator salient poles and a set of first rotor salient poles and second rotor salient poles.

Double-stator switched reluctance rotating machine

A pod of an ocean current power generation device which is serving as an underwater floating-type underwater device is provided with a ballast tank and an air storage tank. When discharging water from the ballast tank, by opening a water discharge valve and driving a water discharge pump, water inside the ballast tank is discharged to the outside through a water conduit. When supplying water, by opening a water supply valve while the water pressure outside the pod is greater than the water pressure inside the ballast tank, water is made to flow from the outside of the pod through an aperture portion, and into the ballast tank via the water conduit.

Underwater device

A double stator switched reluctance rotating machine includes an annular rotor, an outer stator that is disposed outside the rotor, and an inner stator that is disposed inside the rotor; and employs a structure in which the rotor is provided with a bolt fastening hole passing through the rotor in an axial direction and the bolt fastening hole is provided at a position depending on magnetic characteristics of the outer and inner stators.

Double stator switched reluctance rotating machine

A double stator switched reluctance rotating machine includes an annular rotor, an outer stator that is disposed outside the rotor, and an inner stator that is disposed inside the rotor, and has a structure in which the outer and inner stators are connected to each other in parallel.

On an inner circumference side of a stator fixed in an inner housing, a rotor is arranged. The rotor rotates through a bearing with respect to a center shaft that is a stationary shaft fixed to outer housings. Oil introduced into a rotor oil inlet path in the center shaft flows through a communication path and a clearance on an outer circumference of the center shaft into an oil path in the rotor. The oil flowing through the oil path cools a permanent magnet, lubricates the bearing, and is discharged from a rotor oil discharge port to the outside of the inner housing. The oil in the clearance is sealed with a thread seal, i.e., an inner thread formed in an inner face of an end ring and is prevented from flowing toward the bearing.
