To provide a method for production of an all-solid-state battery in which cracking of the ends of the electrodes can be suppressed even if a negative electrode active material layer including lithium-titanium oxide is roll-pressed, provided is a method for the production of an all-solid-state battery, including roll-pressing to consolidate a negative electrode active material layer; wherein the all-solid-state battery has a structure including a laminate of a positive electrode current collector layer, a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, the negative electrode active material layer, and a negative electrode current collector layer in this order, the negative electrode active material layer includes a lithium-titanium oxide as a negative electrode active material, and prior to the roll-pressing, a stress relaxation rate of the negative electrode active material layer is 32.5% or more.

Electrode laminate for all-solid-state batteries and method for producing the electrode laminate

Provided is a laminate that is configured to suppress a deterioration in the all-solid-state battery even if the end part of the anode layer is cracked. The laminate may be a laminate comprising an anode layer, a solid electrolyte layer and a cathode layer in this order, wherein an area in a planar direction of the cathode layer is smaller than an area in a planar direction of the anode layer; wherein an end part of the cathode layer comprises, on the solid electrolyte layer, a thin film part having a smaller thickness than a thickness of a central part of the cathode layer; and wherein the end part of the cathode layer comprises, on the thin film part, a space part formed by a level difference between the thin film part and the central part.

Laminate

Disclosed is an all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery excellent in cycle characteristics. The battery may be an all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery, wherein an anode comprises anode active material particles, an electroconductive material and a solid electrolyte; wherein the anode active material particles comprise at least one active material selected from the group consisting of elemental silicon and SiO; and wherein a BET specific surface area of the anode active material particles is 1.9 m/g or more and 14.2 m/g or less.

All-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery

Disclosed is an all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery being excellent in cycle characteristics. The all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery may be an all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery, wherein an anode comprises an anode active material, an electroconductive material and a solid electrolyte; wherein the anode active material comprises at least one active material selected from the group consisting of a metal that is able to form an alloy with Li, an oxide of the metal, and an alloy of the metal and Li; and wherein a bulk density of the solid electrolyte is 0.3 g/cmor more and 0.6 g/cmor less.

In the stacked battery, a short-circuit current shunt part is electrically connected to the electric elements, and an insulating layer of the short-circuit current shunt part is constituted of material having a predetermined melting point or glass transition temperature. When heat is excessively generated in the battery due to internal short circuits etc. and the temperature of the battery reaches the melting point of the insulating layer, the insulating layer melts and its shape is changed to short-circuit the short-circuit current shunt part, and current flows from the electric elements into the short-circuit current shunt part. To measure the current flowing into the short-circuit current shunt part makes it possible to easily grasp excessive heat generation of the battery to suppress deterioration of the battery due to heat generation.

Stacked battery

An electrode for solid-state batteries, comprising a PTC resistor layer, and a solid-state battery comprising the electrode. The electrode may be an electrode for solid-state batteries, wherein the electrode comprises an electrode active material layer, a current collector and a PTC resistor layer disposed between the electrode active material layer and the current collector; wherein the PTC resistor layer contains an electroconductive material, an insulating inorganic substance and a polymer; and wherein a porosity of the PTC resistor layer is from 5% to 13%.

Electrode for solid-state batteries and solid-state battery

Disclosed is an all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery including an anode that contains, as an anode active material, at least one selected from the group consisting of a metal that is able to form an alloy with Li, an oxide of the metal, and an alloy of the metal and Li, and being excellent in cycle characteristics. The production method is a method for producing an electrode for solid-state batteries, wherein the method is a method for producing an electrode for use in a solid-state battery comprising a cathode, an anode and an electrolyte layer disposed between the cathode and the anode; wherein the electrode is at least one of the cathode and the anode, and the electrode comprises a current collector, an electrode active material layer and a PTC resistor layer disposed between the current collector and the electrode active material layer.

Method for producing electrode for solid-state batteries

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a stacked battery in which an unevenness of short circuit resistance among a plurality of cells is suppressed. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a stacked battery comprising: a plurality of cells in a thickness direction, wherein the plurality of cells are electrically connected in parallel; each of the plurality of cells includes a cathode current collector, a cathode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, an anode active material layer, and an anode current collector, in this order; the stacked battery includes a surface-side cell that is located on a surface side of the stacked battery, and a center-side cell that is located on a center side rather than the surface-side cell; and a contact resistance between the cathode current collector and the anode current collector in the surface-side cell is more than a contact resistance between the cathode current collector and the anode current collector in the center-side cell.
