A fuse unit includes a fuse element which includes a fusible portion, a housing which accommodates the fuse element in a state that the fusible portion is exposed to an outside thereof, and a cover which is attached to the housing so as to cover the fusible portion. The cover includes a pair of side wall portions which is disposed so as to face each other with the fusible portion interposed therebetween, and a connection portion which connects the pair of side wall portions. The housing includes a guide wall which is configured to guide the cover toward the fusible portion when the cover is attached to the housing. The guide wall is inclined to a direction intersecting a separation direction in which the cover is separated from the housing.

Fuse unit

An electronic component protecting cover includes a fixed cover portion, a hinge portion, and a rotatable cover portion. One of the fixed cover portion and the rotatable cover portion has engaging portions at two locations, and the other of the fixed cover portion and the rotatable cover portion has catching portions at two locations, the engaging portions and the catching portions being configured to be engaged with each other. Each of the engaging portions has a pair of locking tabs, and each of the catching portions has a pair of locking frames. Because each of the engaging portions and each of the catching portions has double-locking structure, sufficient locking force can be provided.

Electronic component protecting cover

A fuse unit includes a bus bar and a housing. The bus bar includes a power source-side connection section, an output-side connection section, and a fusible body. A terminal configured to be connected to the output-side connection section includes a bent section and protrusion sections. The housing includes a terminal accommodation section for accommodating the output-side connection. The accommodation space is enclosed with side walls standing upright on both sides of the output-side connection section in an insertion direction of the terminal and on a deep side thereof in the insertion direction of the terminal. The terminal accommodation section includes terminal insertion start-side movement restricting walls and a height-direction and terminal insertion start-side movement restricting wall.

A protection cover attachment structure of a battery-mounted fusible link unit includes a fusible link unit including a resin housing with a slide guide groove and a protection cover including an upper surface cover and side surface covers. The upper surface cover covers the upper surface of the resin housing and a battery post and a battery terminal. The side surface covers extend downward from a peripheral edge of the upper surface cover and cover the wire-attached terminals connected to the terminal sections of the fusible link unit and upper part of wires which are connected to the terminals and extended downward. When the protection cover is put over the resin housing, the slide guide grooves restricts the position of the protection cover and guides a side edge of at least one of the side surface covers downward.

Protection cover attachment structure of battery-mounted fusible link unit

A fusible link unit includes a fusible link main body that includes a bus bar for connecting to a battery terminal, and a battery that has a battery post for connecting to the battery terminal. The fusible link main body includes an L-shaped housing having a first face and a second face which oppose two side surfaces forming a corner portion of the battery. The bus bar is connected to a fuse portion and is extended from the first face of the housing. Abutment portions for abutting against the side surfaces of the battery are provided on the first and second faces of the housing respectively.

Fusible link unit

A hinge section including bending sections at both side edges of a band plate section is provided in center of a busbar. On both sides of the hinge section, two fuse circuit constituting plate sections are integrally formed to be linked thereto. Two resin housings are assembled by insert molding to the respective fuse circuit constituting plate sections, thus forming two bodies. The two bodies are pivoted in the same direction at the bending sections, and engagement units are locked, thus constituting a fusible link unit having a U-shaped plan view. The two bodies are engaged with each other in vicinity areas of the hinge section in the opposed surfaces of the opposed resin housing when the two bodies are pivoted. The fusible link unit also includes recessed and projected guides guiding the two resin housings to proper positions.

Fusible link unit with hinge section

In a terminal connection structure, a stud bolt is stood and inserted into a hole of a top plate portion of a terminal, and the nut is screwed and fastened to the stud bolt on the top plate, thus connecting the terminal to the stud bolt. A terminal accommodation section is formed by a tubular wall around the stud bolt. It has an opening and ribs at a part of a circumference thereof, and allows the terminal fixed to the stud bolt from above. The opening is formed so as to fit on a belt portion extending from the top plate portion toward a fixing portion of the terminal. The ribs are protruded on the protection wall. The ribs prevent the terminal from being detached upward when the terminal is being temporarily lifted. The ribs are arranged at different heights in a top-bottom direction of the stud bolt.

Terminal connection structure

A fuseof the present invention includes a fuse body, a housingwhich is made of an insulative resin, and receives and holds the fuse body therein, the fuse body being inserted into the housing through an upper opening in the housing, and a coverwhich is made of an insulative resin, and covers the upper opening in the housing. Retaining portions, corresponding respectively to retaining clawsof a withdrawing jig for withdrawing the housing, are formed at a side surface of the housing. Therefore, the retaining claws of the withdrawing jig can be positively fixed to the housing, and a relatively large force is not required for the withdrawing operation, and therefore the withdrawing operation can be effected efficiently.

Fuse

A housing body contains the fuse body therein. The fuse body is formed with an opening and a retaining projection arranged in the vicinity of the opening. A cover body is formed with a locking piece adapted to engage with the retaining projection so that the cover body closes the opening. A rigidity-reduced portion is formed in the cover body, so that the cover body can be flexed substantially without flexing the locking piece, at least when the locking piece engages with the retaining projection.

A first housing is formed with a cavity adapted to receive both of a second housing having a first length and provided with a first fuse, and a third housing having a second length smaller than the first length and provided with a second fuse. The cavity has a bottom. A pair of terminals are extended from the bottom of cavity so as to have a third length. The terminals are adapted to be fitted with both of the first fuse and the second fuse. At least one spacer having a predetermined thickness smaller than the third length is removably disposed on the bottom of cavity, at least in a case where the third housing is received in the cavity.

Cavity structure of electric junction box

A rotating terminal ( ) has a circumferential outer peripheral surface ( ) having its center disposed at an axis ( ) of rotation of the rotating terminal, and has electrically conductive areas and non-electrically conductive areas alternately arranged on the outer peripheral surface in the circumferential direction. At least one pair of fixed terminals ( ) are fixed and disposed outwardly of a path of rotation of the outer peripheral surface of the rotating terminal. In accordance with a rotating position of the rotating terminal, the pair of fixed terminals can be switched between an electrically-conducting condition, in which the pair of fixed terminals are electrically connected together through the rotating terminal, and an interrupting condition in which the pair of fixed terminals are not electrically connected together through the rotating terminal.

A fuse includes a pair of terminals , housing and fusible body . The terminals are provided so that their one ends are housed in the housing and their other ends are exposed externally from the housing . The terminals each has a recess to enlarge the interval therebetween. The recess consists of a flat face and step face . The housing includes a pair of end walls , and a pair of partition walls . The inner faces of the pair of end walls are opposite to each other in a direction orthogonal to the direction the pair of terminals are arranged in parallel and extend along the end faces of the terminals . The partition wall extend from the inner face toward the inner face . The second partition walls each covers the flat face . In this configuration, when the power with a current value which exceeds the fusing current value of the fusible body is supplied, supply of the power to the load can be surely stopped.

A fuse includes a pair of terminals , a housing and a fusible body . The one ends of the terminals are housed within the housing . The housing includes a pair of end walls , a pair of side walls , a first partition wall and a pair of second partition walls . The inner faces of the pair of end walls are opposite to each other in a direction orthogonal to the direction of arranging the terminals in parallel and extend along the end faces of the terminals. The inner faces of the side walls are opposite to each other in a direction of arranging the terminals in parallel. The first partition wall is located between the pair of terminals . The pair of second partition walls are located between the first partition wall and the inner faces , respectively.
