A positioning apparatus according to the present invention includes: a triaxial acceleration sensor zero point calculating unit which determines whether or not the moving body is performing horizontal plane uniform linear traveling, and calculates a zero point of the triaxial accelerations when a determination is made that the moving body is performing the horizontal plane uniform linear traveling, based on at least triaxial speeds, a longitudinal acceleration, and triaxial accelerations while the moving body is traveling; an apparatus housing attachment angle calculating unit which calculates a pitch direction attachment angle and a roll direction attachment angle based on the zero point of the triaxial accelerations; a triaxial angular velocity coordinate transforming unit which coordinate-transforms the triaxial angular velocities; and a position estimating unit which estimates a current position of the moving body based on at least a yaw rate obtained from the triaxial angular velocities.

Positioning apparatus and positioning method

A travel interval division part and a low fuel consumption travel pattern generation part are included, the travel interval division part dividing, based on a reference travel pattern indicating a speed and a travel time period in a case where a vehicle travels without consideration of energy consumption and based on travel route information indicating a travel route that the vehicle travels, the travel route into a plurality of travel intervals at a plurality of reference points, the low fuel consumption travel pattern generation part determining a low fuel consumption travel pattern in which a travel time period of each travel interval falls within a predetermined range of a travel time period of each travel interval of the reference travel pattern and a cumulative speed increase amount in each travel interval is smaller than that of the reference travel pattern.

Travel pattern generation device

A route search device capable of searching for a route with the lowest energy cost at a high speed even if the distance between start and end points is long. The route search device includes: a long distance search attribute calculation section for calculating, as an attribute of one long distance search link, the sum of upslope elevation differences of a plurality of short distance search links and the sum of downslope elevation differences of the short distance search links corresponding to the one long distance search link; and a link cost calculation section for calculating, based on the attribute of the long distance search link and vehicle characteristics, a link cost that is an energy consumption at a time when a vehicle travels in the long distance search link.

Route search device

A navigation apparatus includes an unregistered road detecting means for setting up a detection start point and a detection end point for an unregistered road on registered roads which are respectively located before and behind sections in which matching result data indicates a free state, respectively, the matching result data indicating a matching state when the vehicle is traveling each of the registered roads, for performing a coordinate transformation on a traveling path which is created from positioning data and which is extending between the two points so that the traveling path has coordinates which match with the coordinates of a registered road between them, and for detecting the coordinates of the unregistered road from a portion of the coordinate-transformed traveling path which does not overlap any registered road, and a road data generating means for creating road data about the unregistered road from the coordinates of the unregistered road.

Navigation apparatus

A forecasting apparatus for predicting future events includes a forecast processing data configuring section for configuring a data matrix including previously accumulated historical data and unknown forecast data, the data matrix having the unknown forecast data as missing elements, and a forecast processing section for estimating values of the missing elements representative of the unknown forecast data by performing singular value decomposition of the data matrix configured by the forecast processing data configuring section.
