A power transmission device for a noncontact power supply device includes a resonant circuit that outputs an alternating magnetic flux by power from a power source circuit, and switching elements for making the resonant circuit generate an alternating magnetic flux, and transmits power to a power receiving coil of a power reception device by the alternating magnetic flux. A power transmission controller of the power transmission device includes a transmission mode of supplying alternating power to the resonant circuit by repeating ON and OFF of switching elements by controlling switching elements. ON time in one cycle of operation of each of switching elements used in the transmission mode is a first fixed value. Accordingly, the power transmission device in a simplified configuration can be provided.

Power transmission device for noncontact power supply device

An electric apparatus unit comprises electric apparatus and charging stand. Electric apparatus includes rechargeable battery, a driver that drives through electric power supplied from rechargeable battery and power receiver that supplies the electric power to rechargeable battery. Charging stand includes power transmission coil that supplies electric power to power receiver and support that supports electric apparatus.

A noncontact power supply device includes a power transmission device, a magnetism collecting device, and a power reception device. The power transmission device includes switching elements that make a power-transmission resonant circuit generate an alternating magnetic flux from a power source circuit. The power reception device includes a magnetism collecting device having a magnetism collecting circuit not connected to a load, a power receiving coil which is capable of being magnetically coupled to the magnetism collecting device, and a rectifier circuit that supplies output power of the power receiving coil to a load. A power-transmission resonance frequency of the power-transmission resonant circuit is smaller than a drive frequency of each of switching elements, and a power-reception resonance frequency of the magnetism collecting circuit is larger than the drive frequency of each of switching elements. Accordingly, the present invention provides a noncontact power supply device with high power transmission efficiency and with excellent productivity.

Non-contact power supply device

The battery pack includes a battery cell for supplying electric power to an external device connected thereto, a temperature sensor for sensing a temperature of a place on which the temperature sensor is arranged, a switch member for making and breaking an electric path between the external device and the battery cell; and a controller configured to control the switch member to turn on and off according to the temperature sensed by the temperature sense. The temperature sensor is arranged on a position between the battery cell and the switch member so as to be affected by the temperatures of both of the battery cell and the switch member.

Battery pack

The battery pack includes: a charging terminal receiving power from a charger while connected to the charger; a battery connected to the charging terminal and recharged by power from the charger via the charging terminal; a protective circuit performing a protective operation of detecting an overcharge of the battery by using power from the battery while receiving a driving signal, and terminating the protective operation when receiving no driving signal; an activation terminal receiving an activation signal from the charger while connected to the charger; an activation circuit connected to the activation terminal and configured to output the driving signal to the protective circuit while receiving the activation signal from the charger via the activation terminal; and an auxiliary activation circuit connected to the charging terminal and configured to provide the driving signal to the protective circuit while the battery receives power from the charger via the charging terminal.

A motor device includes an electric motor operated when supplied with power from a rechargeable battery, a voltage detection unit that detects voltage of the rechargeable battery, a determination unit that performs an abnormality determination based on a comparison of the voltage of the rechargeable battery, which is detected by the voltage detection unit, and a determination value, a control unit that controls the operation of the electric motor in accordance with the determination result of the determination unit, and a temperature detection unit that detects the usage environment temperature. The determination unit changes the determination value in accordance with the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit and performs the abnormality determination based on the changed determination value.

Motor device and power tool

A battery pack includes a status detection unit for detecting a status of a battery; a switch unit for interrupting a discharging path of the battery; a notification unit for notifying a user of the status of the battery; an operation unit operable by the user; and control unit for opening and closing the switch unit. The control unit is configured to have the switch unit interrupt the discharging path of the battery when the status of the battery detected by the status detection unit is abnormal. Further, the control unit is configured to have the notification unit notify the user of the availability to restart a discharging operation and close the switch unit in response to an operation signal inputted from the operation unit to make the battery pack dischargeable when the status of the battery detected by the status detection unit is recovered from the abnormal status.

A charger for an electric power tool includes a charging unit for charging a secondary battery detachably attached to the charger; a notification unit for notifying an operation state of the charging unit by using a combination of a turn-on and turn-off of the notification unit; a brightness reducing unit for reducing a light brightness of the notification unit; and a controller for controlling the notification unit and the brightness reducing unit. If an operation state of the charging unit satisfies a specific condition, the controller controls the brightness reducing unit to reduce the light brightness of the notification unit.

Charger

A battery charger includes an attachment portion capable of being connected to a plurality of battery packs; a connection unit for connecting one of the battery packs connected to the attachment portion to a charging path; a state detection unit for detecting a state of each of the battery packs; a remaining capacity detection unit; and a charging control unit. The remaining capacity detection unit detects a remaining capacity based on the state of the battery pack detected by the state detection unit after each of the battery pack is charged for a specified period of time. Further, the charging control unit assigns priorities to the battery packs such that one whose remaining capacity detected by the remaining capacity detection unit is closer to a fully charged state thereof has a higher priority, and controls the connection unit to charge the battery packs according to the assigned priorities.
