A disc music box for playing a melody comprises a base (21); a music box disc (1) having a plurality of engaging drive parts (3) and a drive hole (4); a plurality of music box petals (27a) provided on the base; a plurality of star wheels (26) each guided and revolved by one of the engaging drive parts, a turn plate (23) provided coaxially with the music box disc and having a detecting member (42) thereon; a motor (M) provided on the base; a transmission mechanism (24) disposed between the turn plate and the motor to transmit the drive force of the motor to the turn plate; a drive projection (23d) provided on the turn plate for engagement with the drive hole of the music box disc for positioning the music box disc; and a switch (43) provided on the base for engagement with the detecting member of the turn plate when the music box disc makes one rotation.

Disc music box

A disc music box for playing a melody, which comprises a disc (3) having a plurality of engaging parts (4, 40), a motor (M) for rotating the disc, and star wheels (12) guided and rotated by the engaging parts of the rotating disc for plucking music box petals (17a), wherein control information for controlling other instruments to be operated in association with the play of the music box is recorded at desired portions on the disc excepting portions where the engaging parts are disposed on the disc. An information disc (101) has both playing and control information and is driven to rotate at a predetermined speed. A tricky timepiece comprises a disc music box instrument (120) to which a music box disc (101) is attached and a tricky device (150) interconnected with the disc music box instrument to move puppets (151), thereby providing tricky performance. Music box timepiece

A clock movement for table or wall clocks, the movement including at least a synchronous motor section and analog display section, the synchronous motor section adapted to receive a fixed cycle pulse signal to rotatably drive analog indicating hands at a fixed speed. The synchronous motor section includes an elongated C-shaped stator disposed within a case and a rotor rotatably supported by the case and rotated between stator poles of the stator, the rotor having a rotor pinion engaged by a first reduction wheel, the rotation of the first reduction wheel being transmitted to the analog indicating hands through a time indicating gear train, both of the first reduction wheel and time indicating gear train being disposed within the case. The gear train from the rotor to the time indicating gear train is disposed on a straight or curved line extending from the central stator axis to provide an elongated configuration to the movement case.

An alarm signalling electronic timepiece including an alarm signalling circuit which generates alarm signal at a preset hour, and a sound circuit which generates signalling sound by the alarm signal. This timepiece includes a timer counter which can memorize and subtract preset time and which can supply the alarm signal to the sound circuit after the set time elapses from the start of down count from a a time start circuit which holds the time memorized in said timer counter until the alarm signal from the alarm signalling circuit changes and which starts counting in said timer counter when the alarm signal changes, and external switches which externally switch over to work or cancel said time start circuit, whereby plural and different alarm signalling hours can be set with more simplicity.

Alarm signalling electronic timepiece with timer function

The present invention provides a timpiece including clock and timer sections which can be operated solely or in association with each other. When the clock and timer sections are combined with each other, the start of the timer section is controlled by an alarm signal from the clock section such that two different alarm functions can be attained. The alarm signal is preferably in the form of an alarm output or alarm pause output. The clock and timer secitons may be connected into a unit or mechanically disconnected from each other. When the clock section can be separated from the timer section, the state of connection therebetween and the life of a battery used can warningly be indicated.

A whole body swingable clock which includes a clock body swingingly supported on the pendulum fulcrum, an additional pendulum contained in the clock body to swing the clock body by means of movement of gravity center position, said clock body containing a clock drive mechanism having a clock drive gear train to indicate a certain time and an additional pendulum drive mechanism having an additional pendulum drive gear train to drive the additional pendulum, the additional pendulum drive gear train prepared with an escape wheel, a pallet fork which engages with the escape wheel to swing and is connected to the additional pendulum and a urging means which provides the predetermined rotating force to the escape wheel so that the rotation of the escape wheel enables the engaging conditions between the escape wheel and the pallet fork to be changed to swing the pallet fork and the additional pendulum connected thereto and further the whole clock body, wherein the clock drive gear train and the additional pendulum drive gear train are arranged to be linked with each other so that the clock drive gear train can wind up the urging means to accumulate the urging force, and both of these two gear trains can be driven by a single drive means, and further wherein a time correcting wheel is installed between the clock drive gear train and the additional pendulum drive gear train so that the time correcting wheel can be geared with both of these gear trains, and the rotation of the time correcting wheel enables a time to be corrected and the urging means of the additional pendulum drive mechanism to be wound up for accumulation of the initial urging force.

Whole body swingable clock

A whole body swingable clock wherein a clock body itself swings. This whole body swingable clock includes: a clock body swingably supported on a pendulum fulcrum and solidly secured thereto with a clock mechanism case housing therein a movement case; and a stationary receiving plate provided thereon with a magnet or a driving coil to be electromagnetically connected to a driving coil or a magnet provided on the movement case for generating a swinging driving force in the clock body. In this whole body swingable clock, the stationary receiving plate with the magnet or the driving coil is housed in a space formed in the movement case, whereby the clock body can swing with the stationary receiving plate with the magnet or the driving coil being hardly exposed to outside from the clock body.

A time correcting device for a time signalling timepiece including a time striking construction having an hour wheel pipe onto which an hour hand is attachingly pushed and a rotation detector linked to the rotation of the hour wheel pipe to control signalling numbers of a time striking device, an hour wheel inserted onto the hour wheel pipe with clearance, a click disc formed on the either one of the hour wheel pipe or the rotation detector in the time striking construction or said hour wheel, and a click apparatus facing to the click disc and fixed to the either other one of the hour wheel pipe, the rotation detector or the hour wheel, whereby the click action between the click disc and the click apparatus enables the intermittent rotation between the hour wheel pipe and the hour wheel so that the direct time correction on the hour hand can be performed with separation from a minute hand.

Time correcting device for time signalling timepiece
