An impact detecting device includes a first impact detecting portion, a determining portion and an informing portion. The first impact detecting portion detects an impact applied to an object equipped to a vehicle. The determining portion determines that the object has received the impact when a detection result of the first impact detecting portion is greater than a first impact determination threshold. The informing portion informs that the object has received the impact, when the determining portion determines that the object has received the impact.

Impact detecting device

An occupant determining device includes a load detecting sensor provided on a seat body and a controller. The controller calculates a detected load value based on an output value of the load detecting sensor and performs occupant determination based on the detected load value. The occupant determination state is switched to an adult determination state when a certain delaying time elapses after the detected load value exceeds a determination threshold. The controller sets plural determination thresholds, and the larger each determination threshold being exceeded by the detected load value is, the shorter the delaying time is set.

Occupant determining device

An occupant determination device for a vehicle seat includes a load sensor provided at a seat body, a controller for calculating a detection load value based on a load value output from the load sensor and for determining an occupant sitting on the vehicle seat by comparing the detection load value and a predetermined threshold value, a determining means for determining whether or not a child restraint system is equipped on the vehicle seat based on a variation of the detection load value and a detecting means for detecting whether or not the vehicle is stopped. When a vehicle stop condition is not detected by the detecting means, the determining means does not determine whether or not the child restraint system is equipped on the seat.

Occupant determination device

An ignition control system has an airbag control device and a roll-over control device. The airbag control device and the roll-over control device are interconnected by a communication line. The specification of communication between the control devices is set so that the operation of the airbag control device is the same when the roll-over control device is provided as it would be were the roll-over control device not provided. When a roll-over of the vehicle occurs, first and second switching element are turned on, so that ignition current is supplied from a backup capacitor. During diagnostics, the second switching element remains off.
