A generation technique and an analysis technique of a large number of explanatory variables to derive effective measures by using various data are provided. Specifically, a factor which lurks in a large amount of data and affects business performance is identified by automatically generating a large number of explanatory variables and performing correlation analysis between the explanatory variables and an objective variable. Three operators representing condition, target, and arithmetic which are variable generation conditions are defined in advance for data inputted into an analysis system and a large number of explanatory variables are automatically generated by these operators.

An analysis sever capable of performing analysis among a large amount of sensor data in order to obtain an analysis result that a reader desires and outputting the result instantaneously. The analysis server rearranges the sensor data acquired from a sensor node into time series data. The analysis is performed separately for time trigger analysis (D) and for event trigger analysis (F) depending on analysis contents. In the time trigger analysis (D), analysis processing that is basically needed when visualizing a state of an organization is performed. In the event trigger analysis (F), an analysis result obtained by the time trigger analysis (D) is processed using the reader's desired information and is outputted.

Analysis system and analysis server

Voice of plural participants during a meeting is obtained and dialogue situations of the participants that change every second are displayed in real time, so that it is possible to provide a meeting visualization system for triggering more positive discussions. Voice data collected from plural voice collecting units associated with plural participants is processed by a voice processing server to extract speech information. The speech information is sequentially input to an aggregation server. A query process is performed for the speech information by a stream data processing unit of the aggregation server, so that activity data such as the accumulation value of speeches of the participants in the meeting is generated. A display processing unit visualizes and displays dialogue situations of the participants by using the sizes of circles and the thicknesses of lines on the basis of the activity data.

An interaction data display apparatus includes a receiving unit for receiving interaction data from the terminal unit and a display unit for displaying the received interaction data. The display unit displays the first and second information items included in the interaction data received by the receiving unit so as to be related to each other according to times at which those first and second information items are obtained respectively.

There is disclosed a sensor node capable of transmitting and receiving a large amount of data or data desired to be reliable without missing data, while preventing battery exhaustion and unnecessary compression of the transmission bandwidth. A name-tag type sensor node includes a detector for detecting connection of an external power supply. When the detector detects that the external power is supplied, the name-tag type sensor node transmits and receives a large amount of data, such as bulk transmission data, at an increased frequency by means of a data selector, a communication timing controller, and a wireless communication controller. Alternatively, the name-tag type sensor node transmits and receives the data desired to be reliable, such as rewriting data of firmware.

The operation timing control unit () decides the operation interval and the relationship for starting each of the sensor nodes. Moreover, the base station and the sensor node have a counter value as a reference of the sensor node operation interval and the operation start phase, which are periodically synchronized.

Sensor net management method

In order to easily provide data successively generated from a real world sensor network in a time series to a user, a unit for generally and flexibly performing mapping between a source for generating physical electronic information (for example, a tiny sensor node) and sensing data to be provided to the user is provided. Therefore, a manager of the sensor network is composed of a device management table for mapping among a wireless sensor node, a wireless base station, and a data managing server, a real world model table capable of including device information and giving plural attributes, a registration/search processing unit for registering/searching that information, and a data manager for data mapping between the tables.

Face-to-face detection by infrared-ray communication is effective in grasping interaction between persons. However the problem here is that infrared rays have a high directivity and detection fails unless the persons face each other right in front. Sensor signals having a high directivity and sensor signals having a low directivity are obtained from a sensor terminal (TR) carried by a person. Firstly, information on relative position is obtained with a sensor (TRIR) of infrared rays or the like having a high directivity and an initial group is formed at an application server (AS). A feature amount such as sound that has a low directivity and can sense surrounding environmental information is extracted from among the terminals (TRs) belonging to the initial group by personal feature extraction (ASIF), correlation with terminals (TRs) not belonging to a group is obtained, and thereby whether or not those terminals (TRs) belong to an identical group is judged.

An input interface segments a variable length packet into plurality of fixed length cells and generates an internal switching information based on the header information of the variable length packet. The input interface transmits the information to a switch and, after that, transmits the cells as the following cells of the information to the switch. The switch performs switching processing to the succeeding cells based on the information. Therefore, the information is not added to the cells. When an input interface starts to transmit cells generated from a packet to its destination output interface through the switch, the switch is reserved until all the cells arrive at the output interfaces.

At each distributed data processing server (DDS), upon reception of the data from the sensor node, identification process is executed as to whether the data is sensor data to be managed by itself or another distributed data processing server. If a result of the identification is the sensor data to be managed by another distributed data processing server, the data is transferred to the distributed data processing server (DDS-), which corresponds to the home server of the sensor data, based on setting of the directory server (DRS).
