A physical quantity measuring apparatus of the present invention measures a physical quantity from a signal based on a physical quantity output by a physical quantity signal output apparatus. A correction signal output unit outputs a new correction signal based on a signal on the basis of a physical quantity obtained at a given measurement time, a correction signal obtained before that measurement time, and a filter coefficient. A large/small relationship determining unit determines a large/small relationship between the signal on the basis of the physical quantity and the correction signal obtained before that measurement time. A first filter coefficient output unit outputs a first filter coefficient based on the plural large/small relationships.

Physical quantity measuring apparatus and physical quantity measuring method

The present invention relates to a magnetic sensor and a magnetic detecting method of the same capable of detecting at least a magnetic field perpendicular to a substrate and a magnetic field parallel to the substrate in a state where the respective magnetic field components are mixed. One embodiment of the magnetic sensor detects a magnetic field of the orthogonal three axes, and includes a magnetic detector including a magnetic field sensitive material configured to detect a magnetic field component in a first direction, a magnetic field direction converters configured to convert a magnetic field component in a second direction and a magnetic field component in a third direction into magnetic field components in the first direction, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction, the third direction being perpendicular to both of the first and the second directions.

Magnetic sensor and magnetic detecting method of the same

It is possible to rapidly or highly accurately estimate a highly reliable offset according to situations and improve further the reliability of the estimated offset even if a measurement data is not obtained in a space in which the magnitude of a vector physical quantity to be measured is uniform. The offset included in the obtained vector physical quantity data are statistically estimated based on a predetermined evaluation formula using difference vectors. In the estimation of the offset, reliability information on a reference point is calculated based on at least one of the vector physical quantity data, the difference vectors and a plurality of estimated reference points according to a calculation parameter for calculating the reliability information on the reference point, whether or not the reference point is reliable is determined by comparing the reliability information with a determination threshold value.

Physical amount measuring device and physical amount measuring method

There are provided an azimuth measurement device and its method for realizing an update of an offset calculated from the data acquired by azimuth measurement. A geomagnetism output measured by a 3-axis magnetic sensor is amplified and input to an A/D conversion section. A chopper section is arranged for switching the terminals for driving an X-axis, Y-axis and a Z-axis magnetic sensor and applies drive voltage output from a drive power source section to the X-axis, the Y-axis and the Z-axis magnetic sensor. The output amplified value amplified by the amplification section is converted from an analog signal to a digital signal by the ND conversion section and then is input to a sensitivity/offset correction calculation section. Output data from this sensitivity/offset correction calculation section is input to an azimuth calculation section and the corresponding azimuth information is output. A reliability information calculation section outputs reliability information.
