The article includes a feces receiving region that is provided in the form of a laminate that includes a top layer provided with at least one opening having an area of 20&tilde;500 mm , a feces holding layer in the form of a three-dimensional network structure underlying the top layer, a liquid-absorbent layer underlying the holding layer and a liquid-impervious back layer covering a lower surface of the absorbent layer. The laminate has its width progressively reduced toward a front end of the feces receiving pocket and a leakage barrier is formed along transversely opposite side edges of the top layer.

An absorbent article including an inner sheet and first and second outer sheets. The first outer sheet is of a fine interstice while the second outer sheet is fluid permeable. Through crepe processing, a great number of recesses are formed on an absorbent crepe sheet having wrinkles as the inner sheet. Highly absorbent polymers are charged in the recesses. Then, the first outer sheet adheres to the face on the opening side of the recesses of the inner sheet, while the second outer sheet adheres to the face of the opposite side of the inner sheet. The second outer sheet is positioned toward the side of fluid absorption. When a fluid is applied on the absorbent article, the fluid passes through the second outer sheet onto the inner sheet and the highly absorbent polymers. Because the crepe wrinkles are elongated and extended when the inner sheet absorbs fluid, the recesses are enlarged.

A urine-absorbent bag has a front section and a rear section adapted to cover a user's penis, defining an opening for insertion of the penis into the bag and a bottom opposed to the opening. The front section has a cut extending from an edge of the opening towards the bag bottom to divide the front section into first and second portions. Fastening members fasten the first and second portions when the portions overlap each other. The rear section has a leakage blocking dam including an elasticized sheet having a base end extending along and bonded to the edge of the opening transversely of the bag and a free end adapted to be raised radially of the opening from the base end.
