A fuel device FS includes a discriminating portion, an operation member, an abutting memberand an open/close member. The discriminating portionincludes an discrimination opening GL formed of a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is an opening corresponding to an external diameter of a small-diameter nozzle FNS. The second portion is an opening having a shape corresponding to an external diameter of a large-diameter nozzle FNL compatible with the fuel device. The operation memberof the discriminating portionguides the small-diameter nozzle intended to insert into the second portion to be inserted into the first portion. The abutting memberprevents a tip of the small-diameter nozzle from passing the first portion. The open/close memberis caused to enter an open state by the large-diameter nozzle passing through the second portion of the discrimination opening GL.

Fuel device

An object is to enhance the assembly of a breather pipe which is accommodated in a filler pipe. A nozzle guide () that is arranged within a filler pipe () includes: a main body portion () that guides the insertion and removal of a refueling nozzle (); and a connection member (to) that is provided on an outer circumferential surface () of the main body portion () and in which an upper end portion () of the connection member is located, in a tank direction (TD) extending from a refueling port (FC) toward a fuel tank (FT), on a downstream side with respect to a tip end portion () of the refueling nozzle (), and the connection member (to) includes: a connection portion () connected to a breather pipe () that is arranged within the filler pipe (); and a vapor flow path formation portion () that forms part of a vapor flow path () for the fuel vapor that flows in through the breather pipe () and the connection portion ().

Nozzle guide

In a housing surrounding a nozzle insertion passage, a first opening open to the atmosphere is provided, and in a cover main body in which the housing is incorporated, a nozzle insertion port and a second opening which is opposite the first opening and open to the atmosphere is provided. Moreover, in the recess wall of a drainage port formation member fitted to the first opening, a recess which is recessed on the side of the first opening is formed so as to be continuous with the second opening, and a drainage port is provided. A drainage valve is held in the recess with respect to the recess wall so as to open and close the drainage port by turning of the valve main body about the turning shaft serving as a base point.

Opening/closing device of fuel tank

An opening-closing apparatus for a fuel tank comprises a fuel passage-forming portion configured to form a fuel passage that is arranged to introduce a supplied liquid fuel to the fuel tank; an insertion-side opening-closing mechanism configured to open and close the fuel passage; a tank-side opening-closing mechanism located on a fuel tank side of the insertion-side opening-closing mechanism and configured to open and close the fuel passage; a liquid discharge path configured to allow for communication of a portion of the fuel passage between the insertion-side opening-closing mechanism and the tank-side opening-closing mechanism to the outside of the opening-closing apparatus; and an open-close valve configured to open and close the liquid discharge path and to be opened toward the outside. This configuration of the opening-closing apparatus for the fuel tank reduces dust and the like invaded from the outside into the fuel passage which a liquid fuel passes through.
