A curable composition capable of being cured at a low temperature of from room temperature to 150&#xb0; C. is provided. The curable composition comprises a fluorinated polymer containing at least three functional groups represented by the following formula (F) and at least one curing agent selected from the group consisting of an isocyanate-type curing agent, a blocked isocyanate-type curing agent and an amino resin-type curing agent:&#x2014;RCOZ&#x2003;&#x2003;(F)(in the formula (1), Ris a fluoroalkylene group, or a fluoroalkylene group with at least two carbon atoms having an etheric oxygen atom between carbon-carbon atoms, Zis NRNRH or NROR, and R, R, Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.)

An electric wire and coil covered with a cured product of a heat- or photo-curable fluorinated polymer and having high insulating properties and high productivity. An electric wire having a conductor wire and a covering layer covering the outer periphery of the conductor wire. The covering layer is made of a cured product of a curable composition which has a fluorinated polymer containing at least three functional groups represented by the following formula (F): &#x2014;RCOZ(F). In formula (F), Ris a single bond, a fluoroalkylene group, or a fluoroalkylene group with at least two carbon atoms having an etheric oxygen atom between carbon-carbon atoms, Zis NRNRH, NRORor OR, and R, R, R, Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.

Electric wire, coil and method for producing electric wire

To provide an adhesive excellent in heat resistance and adhesive property. An adhesive comprising a fluorinated polymer having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of from 6&#xd7;10to 3&#xd7;10and having iodine atoms at both terminals, and a radical generator. The fluorinated polymer has structural units derived from at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of tetrafluoroethylene, vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and a perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether).

To provide a crosslinkable fluorinated elastomer composition which is excellent in crosslinking reactivity and of which a crosslinked product is excellent in heat resistance and chemical resistance. The crosslinkable fluorinated elastomer composition comprises a fluorinated elastomer (e.g. a tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) copolymer) and an aromatic compound having at least two crosslinkable unsaturated double bonds (e.g. a compound represented by the formula (A-1)), and the crosslinked product is one obtained by crosslinking the crosslinkable fluorinated elastomer composition.
