A vibration-damping device wherein a concave groove is provided on an opposing face of at least one of first and second stopper portions to another. An inner protrusion is formed on a rubber buffer layer overlapped with the opposing face so as to be inserted into the concave groove, and both sides of the inner protrusion in a lengthwise direction of the concave groove are free end faces. An outer protrusion is formed at a formation part of the inner protrusion on the rubber buffer layer so as to protrude outward from the concave groove A displacement regulating portion with a lower surface height than that of a distal end face of the outer protrusion is provided on the rubber buffer layer covering an area of the opposing face located away from the concave groove to both sides in a widthwise direction.

Vibration-damping device

Provided is a vibration damping device having a novel structure and that can have a greatly increased load strength resistance without a concomitant increase in the number of components or size at a stopper mechanism. The structure is such that first and second stopper portions having a hanging plate part and a dip part are provided to a pair of opposing sides of a stopper plate of a vibration damping device, whereas a pair of side plate portions extending between the first and second stopper portions are provided to the other pair of opposing sides of the stopper plate, and openings at both sides of the first and second stopper portions are closed by the pair of side plate portions.

Vibration damping device

Provided is an engine mount for a power unit. The power unit is supported by a support via the engine mount. The engine mount includes a first mounting bracket, a second mounting bracket, and a coating film. The coating film is applied to at least one of a surface of a first mounting portion and a surface of a second mounting portion. The coating film includes a cured-resin base layer made of a phenolic-resin adhesive, and an outer layer made of an epoxy-resin antirust paint and laminated on the cured-resin base layer. A thickness of the cured-resin base layer is 5 &#x3bc;m or more. A thickness of the outer layer is less than 15 &#x3bc;m. A sum total of the thickness of the cured-resin base layer and the thickness of the outer layer is equal to or more than 15 &#x3bc;m and equal to or less than 30 &#x3bc;m.

Engine mount

A vibration damping device including: an inner member; an outer cylindrical member into which an end portion of the inner member is inserted; a main rubber elastic body elastically connecting the end portion of the inner member and the outer cylindrical member in an axis-perpendicular direction; a support piece integrally provided with one axial end portion of the outer cylindrical member so as to protrude peripherally inward therefrom and be opposed to one axial end face of the inner member; and a connecting rubber provided between opposed faces of the end face of the inner member and the support piece of the outer cylindrical member so as to elastically connect them in an axial direction.

A fluid-filled type vibration damping device including an elastic movable member attached to a partition member. The elastic movable member includes a clasped portion clasped by the partition member and a switching portion provided to an outer peripheral side of the clasped portion and positioned within a second orifice passage. An abutting portion is provided to the switching portion and projects to lengthwise opposite sides of the orifice passage. A switching mechanism is constituted for opening the orifice passage through a gap formed between the switching portion and the inside face of the orifice passage while closing the orifice passage by abutment of the abutting portion against the inside face of the orifice passage by means of a tilting motion of the switching portion relative to the clasped portion through elastic deformation of a thin portion provided between the clasped portion and the switching portion.

Fluid-filled type vibration damping device

A fluid filled vibration damping device wherein a first and second mounting member are connected by a main rubber elastic body, a pressure receiving chamber partially formed by the rubber elastic body and an equilibrium chamber partially formed by a flexible film are formed on either side of a partition member supported by the second mounting member, an orifice passage is formed for permitting a fluid communication between the pressure receiving chamber and equilibrium chamber communicate both having a non-compressible fluid; and a movable rubber plate is housed in a housing space so that minute pressure fluctuations in the pressure receiving chamber can be absorbed by the equilibrium chamber by means of the movable rubber plate. The movable rubber plate includes at least partially a corrugated part expanding generally a form of a corrugated panel by means of continuous depressions and protrusions.
