The present invention provides a liquid softener composition having pH 2 to 5 at 20&#xb0; C. and containing (a) a polymer compound having a weight-average molecular weight of 2,000 to 90,000 and containing specific monomer units (A) and (B) in a specific molar ratio, (b) one or more compounds selected from specific quaternary ammonium salts and amine compounds, and (c) at least one compound selected from water and solvents having a C log P value of 2 or less within specified ranges.

The softener composition of the present invention comprises a compound having one or more Chydrocarbon groups and two or more groups selected from an amino group and a quaternary ammonium group in the molecule (component (a)), an anionic surfactant having a Chydrocarbon group (component (b)) and a nonionic surfactant (component (c)), wherein the molar ratio of the component (a) to the component (b) is from 90/10 to 50/50. This softener composition can endow cotton and cotton clothes in particular with a preferred softness, elasticity (fluffy feeling) and feeling of dryness with small oiliness.

A softener composition that can impart a high softening effect to clothes irrespective of the state of rinsing water, which contains (a) a compound of formula (1) below, (b) a compound of formula (3) below, and (c) a specific anionic surfactant, wherein the mole ratios between the components (a), (b) and (c) satisfy the following relationship: [(a)+(b)]/(c)=9/1 to 4/6; and wherein Rrepresents a Calkyl group or the like, Rand Rrespectively represent a Calkyl group or the like, R, Rand Rrespectively represent a Calkylene group, R, R, and Rrespectively represent a Calkyl group or the like, A, D and E respectively represent &#x2014;COO&#x2014;, &#x2014;CONH&#x2014; or the like, and 'a', 'c' and &#x201c;d&#x201d; respectively denote 0 or 1. 

A softener composition improves the feeling of clothes and can impart high softening effect to clothes irrespective of the state of rinsing water and comprises (a) a compound represented by the formula (1) or (2), (b) a compound represented by the formula (3) or (4) and (c) a specific anionic surfactant, wherein the mole ratio between the component (a), the component (b) and the component (c) satisfies the following relationship: [(a)+(b)]/(c)=9/1 to 4/6:wherein Rand Rrespectively represent a Calkyl group or the like, R, R, Rand Rrespectively represent a Calkyl group or the like, R, R, R, R, Rand Rrespectively represent a Calkylene group, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand Rrespectively represent a Calkyl group or the like, A, B, D, E, F and G respectively represent &#x2014;COO&#x2014;, &#x2014;CONH&#x2014; or the like, a to f respectively denote 0 or 1 and Yand Zrespectively represent an anionic group.

Provided is a transparent softener composition having a high softening effect and imparting good feeling to clothes. The composition comprises (a) a compound having one group selected from an amino group and a quaternary ammonium group and one hydrocarbon group having 8 to 36 carbon atoms in its molecule, (b) an anionic surfactant having a hydrocarbon group having 14 to 36 carbon atoms and a &mdash;SO M group and/or a &mdash;OSO M group &lsqb;M: counter ion&rsqb; in its molecule, (c) an organic solvent having a log P of 0.2 to 3.0 and water, wherein (a)/(b) is a specified molar ratio, or comprises (a&Prime;) a compound having one group selected from an amino group and a quaternary ammonium group and one hydrocarbon group having 8 to 36 carbon atoms in its molecule and (b&Prime;) an anionic surfactant having a hydrocarbon group having 8 to 36 carbon atoms and a &mdash;SO M group and/or a &mdash;OSO M group (M: counter ion) in its molecule wherein at least one of (a&Prime;) and (b&Prime;) contains a hydrocarbon group selected from (1) a hydrocarbon group having one or more unsaturated bonds and 8 to 36 carbon atoms and (2) a branched alkyl group having 8 to 36 carbon atoms.

The softener composition of the present invention comprises a compound having one or more C hydrocarbon groups and two or more groups selected from an amino group and a quaternary ammonium group in the molecule (component (a)), an anionic surfactant having a C hydrocarbon group (component (b)) and a nonionic surfactant (component (c)), wherein the molar ratio of the component (a) to the component (b) is from 90/10 to 50/50. This softener composition can endow cotton and cotton clothes in particular with a preferred softness, elasticity (fluffy feeling) and feeling of dryness with small oiliness.

Granular detergent composition for clothing

The bleaching detergent composition in a form of granules or powders containing an organic peracid precursor which produces an organic peracid upon reaction with hydrogen peroxide in water, the organic peracid having an alkyl group with 7 to 19 carbon atoms, and a hydrogen peroxide releasing material, wherein the bleaching detergent composition comprises the following components a) to c): a) one or more surfactants; b) one or more crystalline alkali metal silicates; and c) one or more agents for capturing metal ions other than the crystalline alkali metal silicates b), wherein a total amount of the above a), b), and c) components in the bleaching detergent composition occupies from 70 to 99% by weight, and wherein the weight ratio of component b) to component a) is b/a=90/10 to 45/55, and the weight ratio of component b) to component c) is b/c=7/93 to 75/25, and wherein the weight ratio of the organic peracid precursor to nonionic surfactants used as component a) is from 10/90 to 70/30.
