A lubricating structure for a speed reducer includes: a case; a first reduction gear pair provided inside the case; a second reduction gear pair provided inside the case; a first catch tank arranged inside the case; a second catch tank arranged inside the case; a partition member that includes a partition wall that partitions an inside of the case into a first accommodation space in which the first reduction gear pair is accommodated and a second accommodation space in which the second reduction gear pair is accommodated; a first oil passage communicating with the first accommodation space and configured to guide lubricating oil to the first catch tank; a second oil passage communicating with the second accommodation space and configured to guide lubricating oil to the second catch tank; and a communication port provided in the partition member and communicating the first oil passage with the second oil passage.

Lubricating structure for speed reducer

A lubricating structure for a speed reducer includes: a case; a reduction gear provided inside the case, the reduction gear being configured to rotate around a rotation axis; a catch tank configured to store part of lubricating oil scooped up by the reduction gear; an oil passage provided in the side wall, the oil passage being configured to guide the lubricating oil, scooped up by the reduction gear, to the catch tank; a rib formed on the side wall so as to radially extend, the rib being configured to guide the scooped-up lubricating oil toward a radially inner side; and a groove provided at an end edge of the rib of the side wall, the lubricating oil trapped by the rib being introduced into the groove, and the groove communicating with the lubricating oil supply object.

A partition wall that partitions an inside of a case into a gear chamber in which a reduction gear pair is accommodated and a motor chamber in which an electric motor is accommodated, a bearing provided at a bearing support portion of the partition wall so as to overlap with a side portion of a large-diameter gear of the reduction gear pair in a direction of an axis and supporting a counter shaft, an oil passage provided in the gear chamber and guiding lubricating oil, scooped up by the large-diameter gear to a catch tank, and a communication hole provided in the partition wall and providing communication between the oil passage and the motor chamber, are provided. Lubricating structure for vehicle drive system

A partition member including a bearing portion that supports a bearing for a first drive gear and a bearing for a second driven gear includes a partition wall portion. In the partition wall portion, a scoop-up wall that scoops up lubricating oil in cooperation with at least one of a first driven gear and the second driven gear is provided near the at least one of the first driven gear and the second driven gear, and a rib for reinforcing stiffness of the bearing portion is provided on a back face of the scoop-up wall.

A rotary shaft and a seal mechanism are provided. The rotary shaft extends into outside air outside a case via a shaft hole provided in the case of a drive system. The seal mechanism prevents entry of foreign matter from the outside air into the shaft hole. The case includes a canopy portion and a recessed portion. The recessed portion is recessed coaxially with the canopy portion from an end face of the canopy portion in the direction of the axis. The seal mechanism includes a deflector and a seal member. The deflector is fixed to the rotary shaft in a liquid-tight manner, and extends into the recessed portion. The seal member is an elastic body. The seal member is fixed in the shaft hole in a liquid-tight manner, and is in sliding contact in a liquid-tight manner with the rotary shaft and the deflector.

Rotary shaft seal structure for drive system of vehicle

A connecting structure includes a first member including a hole which has a narrower width at an opening portion than a width at a bottom portion and a projecting portion projected toward the opening portion at the bottom portion of the hole, and a second member with a longer shape than a depth of the hole of the first member wherein the second member is inserted into the hole of the first member, the second member being plastically deformed by pushing the second member into the bottom portion of the first member with pressure.

An actuator for a driving mode shifting device. A motor having a motor shaft which outputs rotational torque according to electrified electric current. An output member, which is moved by the rotational torque, shifts drive modes according to positions thereof. A torque transmitting mechanism transmits the rotational torque from the motor shaft to the output member. A control mechanism selects drive modes and controls the electric current to energize the motor so as to provide the selected drive mode. A one-way rotational mechanism is disposed between the motor shaft and the torque transmitting mechanism for preventing the motor shaft rotating against the motor. A rotational torque absorption mechanism is disposed between the one-way rotational mechanism and the torque transmitting mechanism for absorbing the rotational torque, when the motor shaft is rotated and the output member can not be moved. A rotational angle detecting means detects the rotational angle of the motor shaft.

Actuator for a drive mode shifting device

A 2WD-4WD changeover control device for changing the driving system of a vehicle between a two wheel drive mode and a four wheel drive mode includes a housing and a switch for turning on and off an indicator which indicates whether the transfer is in a two wheel drive mode or a four wheel drive mode. The switch is constructed of electrodes and a conductive spring member which establishes and interrupts an electrical connection between the electrodes. The electrodes are fixed on the inner side of a wall of a housing portion that is formed of an electrically insulating material.
