To provide a display device whereby luminance distribution uniformity within a display surface can be improved. A display device of the present invention is provided with: a rectangular display panel, one surface of which displays an image; a substrate, which is disposed to face the other surface of the display panel, said the other surface being on the reverse side of the one surface, and on which a plurality of light sources are mounted; a diffuser plate disposed between the display panel and the substrate; and a supporting member, which has an opening, which light emitted from the light sources passes through, and which supports the peripheral end of the diffuser plate. The display device is also provided with reflecting members, which are respectively provided at the peripheries of the light sources close to four corner portions of the display panel, and which reflect light diffused by the diffuser plate to the corner portions of the display panel.

Provided is a display device that makes it possible to enhance the uniformity of brightness distribution with a display surface. The display device is provided with: a display panel having one surface on which an image is displayed; a substrate that is arranged facing the other surface of the display panel and that has a plurality of light sources mounted thereon; a rectangular diffuser plate arranged between the display panel and the substrate; and two support members that comprises an opening through which light from the light sources passes and that support the diffuser plate by sandwiching the peripheral edge of the diffuser plate from the display panel side and the substrate side. Light-transmitting sections through which light that has passed through the diffuser plate passes are provided to the four corners of the support member on the display panel side.

A display apparatus has a display panel having a display region, a light shielding region surrounding the display region, and an outer region located outside of the light shielding region; a support frame disposed at a rear surface side of the display panel, the support frame including a panel supporting portion which supports a peripheral portion of the display panel from a rear side, and an extension beginning from the panel supporting portion and extending away from the display panel; and a light shield disposed at the rear surface side of the display panel, the light shield including a light-shielding portion which is disposed between the display panel and the support frame, the light-shielding portion extending so as to overlap at least a portion of the light shielding region and the outer region of the display panel as viewed from a normal direction of the display panel, and a fixture portion beginning from the light-shielding portion and extending away from the display panel, the fixture portion being fixed to the extension of the support frame.

Provided is a display device wherein the uniformity of luminance distribution on a display surface can be improved. The display device includes: a rectangular display panel on one surface of which an image is displayed; a substrate disposed to face the other surface of the display panel opposite to the one surface, and having a plurality of light sources mounted thereon; a diffuser disposed between the display panel and the substrate; and a supporting member supporting the peripheral edge of the diffuser, and having an opening through which light from the light sources passes. The display device further includes a reflecting member provided around each of the light sources close to the four corners of the display panel, and reflecting the light from the light sources toward the corners.

Notched sections notched to positions further inward than the edge of the opening in the support member are provided to the four corners of the diffuser plate.

Display

A suction tool for an electric vacuum cleaner includes: a suction tool body which is connected to the vacuum cleaner body and has a suction inflow passage therein for conducting a suction air stream from a suction port, to the vacuum cleaner body; and a movable brush which is provided inside the suction inflow passage formed in the suction tool body and is driven by a driver device. In this tool, the movable brush sways and reciprocates back and forth about a support shaft, perpendicular to the direction of the suction inflow stream. Alternatively, the tool may have a linear motor which operates so as to reciprocate a rod which is liked at one end of it with oscillatory plate pivoted inside the suction tool. Further, this movable brush may be formed of a unit which is composed of a sweeping member having a pair of front and rear sweeping parts and a moving brushing part embedded in between, wherein the front sweeping part is shorter than the rear sweeping part.
