An input device includes: an input member that includes a first surface on which an operation is performed by an operation body and a second surface that is a back surface of the first surface; a first electrode that is disposed on the second surface; a second electrode that faces the first electrode and is disposed spaced apart from the first electrode; and a controller that detects a pressing force applied to the input member by an operation performed by the operation body, based on the electrostatic capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode, and calculates a pressure-sensitivity value that is a value indicating the pressing force detected. Here, the first electrode is electrically connected to the ground.

Input device

A remote control transmitting and receiving system for operating electric equipment with little operational misjudgment or malfunction. By setting a plurality of transmission codes of remote control signals of a plurality of remote control transmitters to different periods and by providing transmission order data in these transmission codes, even if transmission is carried out from a plurality of remote control transmitters completely simultaneously or with a slight time difference, it is possible to judge the transmission operation order accurately.

Remote control transmitter and transmitting-receiving system

A remote controller includes (i) an operating part having at least a key, (ii) a transmitter for transmitting a remote-control signal, (iii) a receiver for a receiving search signal, (iv) an informer for generating at least one of sound and vibration, and (v) a controller connected to these parts. The controller operates the transmitter according to an operation at the operating part, detects that the remote controller is in an abnormal operation state other than normal operation state according to an operation at the operating part, and operates the informer responsive to the search signal received by the receiver at least in the case of abnormal operation.

Remote controller

A substantially ring shaped resistor unit and an conductor unit with a certain space therebetween are provided under an operating unit having a substantially disc shape or a substantially ring shape. When an operating unit is depressed, the resistor unit and the conductor unit are contacted with each other at a position at which the depression is provided. Based on the contact, a controlling part detects the position at which the depression is provided, and a transmitting part transmits a remote control signal corresponding to the position at which the depression is provided.

Remote control transmitter and transmitting and receiving device using the same

A remote control transmitter for operating an electronic appliance with an infrared ray, which is easy-to-operate and inexpensive. The remote control transmitter does not change the illumination of an illuminating device even when an operation key is manipulated. The remote control transmitter has a voltage control circuit including a diode having substantially the same power consumption as an infrared ray output means, and a control transistor connected parallel to the diode for turning on and off according to the electric signal from a microcomputer. Since a current flowing in the diode is controlled by the control transistor, a constant voltage is always applied to the driving circuit for lighting up the illuminating device regardless of an manipulation of the operation key.

Remote control transmitter

A remote control system invention converts an infrared ray signal transmitted from an exclusive remote control transmitter of an electronic apparatus into a transmissive data by a signal analyzing/writing device, and writes the transmissive data in a nonvolatile memory, which is subsequently mounted on other remote control transmitter. A microcomputer in the remote control transmitter reads the transmissive data in the nonvolatile memory, and remote controls the electronic apparatus. Adoption of the present system enables a single unit of the remote control transmitter to remote control a plurality of electronic apparatuses by storing in the remote control transmitter transmissive data of different formats for the plurality of electronic apparatuses.

Remote control system and remote control transmitter for use in the same

A remote control system enables simplified programming of new remote control transmission data of an electronic apparatus which a user wants to remotely control. A plurality of electronic apparatuses are remote controlled by using a single common use remote control transmitter and by converting an infrared signal from an exclusive use remote control transmitter belonging to an electronic apparatus into another remote control transmitter data at a remote control signal analysis/output unit. The data is output as a magnetic signal, the magnetic signal is received, the signal is converted into new remote control transmitter data and the converted data is stored in a nonvolatile memory device.
