A user authentication system is provided with a client apparatus and an authentication server. An application program used for processing the measurement results of the measuring apparatus is installed on the client apparatus. Databases for storing use authority information of the application program are provided on the authentication server. A user inputs authentication information when operating the client apparatus and the application program is started. The client apparatus sends the authentication information to the authentication server, and an authentication process is performed by the authentication server. When authentication is successful, the use authority information of this user is sent from the authentication server to the client apparatus, and the client apparatus sets the application use restrictions according to the use authority information.

A dispensing device having a flexible tube provided with a pipetting nozzle at an end, a washing solution supplier supplying washing solution to the flexible tube and the pipetting nozzle, a syringe connected to another end of the flexible tube and a control section for controlling the driving of the syringe. The control section of the present invention includes a syringe driving compensator by which the washing solution is supplied into or discharged out of the syringe in an amount compensate for the variation in the inner volume of the tube caused by reduction in the liquid pressure when the washing solution is transmitted from the washing solution supplier into the flexible tube. Accordingly, a liquid surface detecting circuit for detecting the liquid surface on the basis of the impedance change between a pipet and a ground is disposed, and the height of the liquid surface before and after suction of the reagent is compared on the basis of the liquid surface detecting information, and the bubble is detected when the difference is more than a specified value, and accordingly the driving circuit of the driving source is controlled by the control circuit. Thus, when dispensing the reagent in the reagent container by a pipet, the bubble can be detected securely and accurately, and this apparatus may be used in a slender reagent container.
