A memory card includes: a main body of the memory card in which a notched section is formed; a semiconductor memory; and a write/nonwrite setting element for setting the write/nonwrite state of data in the semiconductor memory, the write/nonwrite setting element being slidably fitted in the notched section, wherein the main body of the memory card includes an upper main body and a lower main body; at least one of the upper main body and the lower main body has an elastic guide formed within the notched section; the write/nonwrite setting element slides along the elastic guide so as to set the write/nonwrite state of the data in the semiconductor memory; and the elastic guide has an engagement portion for engagedly stopping the write/nonwrite setting element so as to select the position of the write/nonwrite setting element with respect to the elastic guide.

Memory card

A memory card includes: a main body of the memory card in which a notched section is formed; a semiconductor memory; and a write/nonwrite setting element for setting the write/nonwrite state of data in the semiconductor memory, the write/nonwrite setting element being slidably fitted in the notched section, wherein the main body of the memory card includes an upper main body and ail lower main body; at least one of the upper main body and the lower main body has an elastic guide formed within the notched section the write/nonwrite setting element slides along the elastic guide so as to set the write/nonwrite state of the data in the semiconductor memory; and the elastic guide has an engagement portion for engagedly stopping the write/nonwrite setting element so as to select the position of the write/nonwrite setting element with respect to the elastic guide.

A card is supported in the connector so that the partition walls of the card fit between the contact supports each made up of paired raised portions formed on the upper surface of the base plate of the connector housing. This construction realizes a reduction in the height of the connector that receives a card which has contact pads arranged in recessed portions separated from one another by partition walls.

A switch structure for a card connector comprises: a first cantilevered contact spring urged so that a front engagement portion of the first contact spring engages a part of the recessed portion of the inserted card corresponding to one of two slide positions of a write protect button ; and a second cantilevered contact spring extending along and in the same direction as the first contact spring and urged so that a front engagement portion of the second contact spring engages a part of the recessed portion of the inserted card corresponding to the other slide position of the write protect button ; wherein the slide position of the write protect button is detected based on whether the first and second contact springs are in or out of contact with each other, thereby determining the position of the write protect button accurately and reliably.

Switch for a card connector

The present invention provides an FM multiplex information receiving apparatus capable of reducing a required time for indicating a received program to a necessary minimum time and capable of executing update process for a update program. An FM multiplex information receiving apparatus is configured so as to operate as follows. The apparatus stores a received program into the memory in case that a program number which is the same as the received program is present in memory and these update code differ. The apparatus deletes the program-related information at power off or on. The apparatus retains the non-program related information in the memory until a lapse of a certain time after power off.

A digital signal reproducing apparatus capable of reproducing video and audio information from a compact disk without losing the beginning of the video and audio information even when reproducing disks wherein the video and audio information are recorded simultaneously from the first block of any specified selection, said apparatus includes a reproduction position detector for outputting the current reproduction position based on the subcode information. An offset reproducer offsets the disk track being reproduced to a track position before the current reproduction position after accessing the specified reproduction position, then resuming reproduction. First and second shift controllers outputs first and second shift position information obtained by adding or subtracting a constant value to the access position information when initial access is completed. A digital muting canceler cancels audio muting when the reproduction position passes the first shift position; and a video muting canceler cancels video muting when the reproduction position passes said second shift position.

Digital signal reproducing apparatus

A liquid crystal display (LCD) circuit comprising a duty changing device for changing the driving duty cycle of an LCD in accordance with a power supply switching command signal, and a bias changing device for changing the display bias voltage produced by a bias producing device to cause the LCD to display information, in accordance with a power supply switching command signal externally supplied to the LCD circuit. Even when electric power to be supplied from plural power supplies to the bias producing device is switched in accordance with the power supply switching command signal, a change in the display contrast of the LCD can be suppressed.
