A burst protector for a turbocharger covers a first endangered segment of the housing. The burst protector includes insulation, a first sheet, and a second sheet. As a supplement, a casing is installed around the burst protector. The safety of a turbocharger in operation is increased by the invention.

A closed loop cooling water system for an internal combustion engine includes a radiator, an inlet line connecting the radiator to the internal combustion engine, a cooling water pump disposed in the inlet line, the cooling water pump having a suction side, a compensating tank, a compressor connected to the compensating tank, and a connecting line connecting the compensating tank to the inlet line on the suction side of the cooling water pump. The compressor supplies compressed air to the compensating tank to set the pressure level in the compensating tank. The pressure level in the compensating tank affects the pressure level on the suction side of the cooling water pump during operation.

Closed loop radiator water system for an internal combustion engine

A cylinder head has four valves and an injection valve arranged in the center thereof for an internal-combustion engine particularly for a diesel engine. The cylinder head includes a closed runner which is arranged concentrically with respect to an axis of the injection valve and which connects a compression bottom with a top side of the cylinder head. Coolant bores extend in direct proximity to inlet and outlet ports from a circumference of the cylinder head to an interior water space of the cylinder head.

Internal-combustion engine cylinder head

A liquid-cooled cylinder head for an internal combustion engine which is provided with inlet and exhaust channels disposed opposite one another in the cylinder head longitudinal direction, with a central chamber and with several inlet bores for the cooling liquid in the cylinder head bottom; two ring-shaped cooling channels are thereby provided surrounding the central chamber and disposed one above the other which are connected with each other by two overflow apertures disposed opposite one another in the cylinder head longitudinal direction so that the cooling liquid is forced to flow through the ring-shaped cooling channels one after the other in the circumferential direction in relation to the central chamber; two bores which are located opposite one another in the cylinder head cross direction in proximity of the cylinder head bottom thereby connect the lower ring-shaped channel with two cooling channels that are located along the longitudinal sides of the cylinder head and are fed by two inlet bores each.
